Why did Wood only play 17 minutes tonight? They pull him for a trade to Blazers?

A first, two seconds and a serviceable backup big make's a lot of sense for a tanking team full of young guys for a role playing starting big. Let's see what happens tomorrow. If it's Josh for Reddish and a conditional first I'll be upset because that does nothing to help us make use of how great Dame is right now. That being said, moves could be made that make this roster better and put us in a better position to take advantage of Dame's greatness.
 
It used to be high 1st round picks were coveted. Now picks in the 20’s are all the rage.

It honestly just looks like the way Kidds rotation played out in Wood's regard. He played the first 8 minutes of the fourth quarter and was subbed out for Hardaway who is a starter. Nothing that would suggest a pending trade but most teams only pull players when they are actually traded.

I'm not upset today. I will be upset tomorrow if there aren't more moves because when you have a generational talent playing at the top of his game, you can't wait a season to make your moves. When Dame said urgency, I don't think he meant patience.

Lol imagine being upset if more moves aren't made because we don't have assets for those moves that you want because of the unrealistic nature of it.

But sure, blame the team for that when it's really your fault for not being realistic lmao.

I love that I can really enjoy this for what it is since I'm realistic about what we can do.

It's so much fun when your expectations are calibrated. You can enjoy it all!
