I will say this: this summer, for the fan base, they gotta be aggressive. I'll be fine if they don't because shit happens and I'll recalibrate as things change, but for the general fanbase they better do something.

Now, a question: what kind of money will we have this summer? That's the key.

Like we are going to bring in some big name free agent.

Most of what the Blazers have will go into resigning Grant.

I think they are gonna hit the buy out market. I think they are actually going to try to make a push for the playoffs so we send the pick to Chicago

All of the players we acquired are expiring. Is that right? 27 million or so? Does that give us any cap flexibility this summer?

Like I've said, recalibrating expectations so I'm just wondering.

Some will go to grant. Will we have more? What's the numbers?

What could you have POSSIBLY expected, if THIS was one of the most depressing?
I don't think this trade deadline was depressing, obviously they used it to set up the best moves they can make in the off season. The one thing I would have liked to see is us acquire a big that fits better with Chauncey's system but I don't think Joe cared too much about how competitive the team we have right now is and has his eye on next season.

It would have been a more exciting team to watch if it had a better mobile big on it than the ones we have if you can call Trendon or Drew actual bigs. You definitely can't call Nurk mobile.

Hart. Done. Nurkic … this summer. GP to the Warriors was talked about, speculated … and fits. Good for him.
GB3 the expected waive (or filler).

This summer is HUUUUUUGE. Nurkic. Ant vs. Shaedon. Grant getting his lettuce.

All depends on Grant. If we waived all of the incoming guys, or rather, let them walk, with roster charges, I think we're looking at about 111 million in salary.

I can get the frustration for not at least acquiring a big. That makes sense and it didn't make much sense in all these moves to not get one (even plumlee)

Fans ain’t going anywhere FAMS.

Fans ain’t going anywhere FAMS.

As @Strenuus mentioned, some fans stopped going to games and they haven't returned. When is the last time other than maybe opening night, there was a legit sellout? Some nights, it seems about 2/3 to 3/4 full.

That is a FAR cry from when the Rose Garden used to be 95% full on a nightly basis.

Before it was a 'Fake' second round pick.
Now Portland gets the pick regardless.
Which is huge. Murray and Young don’t look like a good pairing at all but if they don’t re-sign him it is going to be disastrous for them going forward.

If we lose our 1st next year we will at least have a potentially high 2nd from both ALT and MIN/CHA.
