after last yr's stellar backup role in GS in a contract year he's fallen off a good bit after the WIZ paid him
I don't buy it. Granted a few players have been known to play better in contract years, but those type of players are few and far between. Most are competitors and go all out regardless. JJ is a competitor. I would say it has more to do with his playing circumstances in Cleveland than his 4 year deal. (4th being a team option)
Having said all that...... he is over paid at 6.3 a year IMO
