It makes perfect sense if Atlanta is intent on blowing it up and starting over. Draft picks are cheap, Jeff Teague is not (or will not be next summer).

Atlanta insists they aren't not blowing it up though. In fact, they want to trade both of their draft picks for a player who is good and that makes Horford more likely to stay.
