Trade idea on how to bring Joakim Noah to Portland

I think Chicago is aiming for a quick rebuild and cant imagine them parting with Noah. I think they still believe they have something with Rose. Noah, Rose and one of these big time players coming out in the draft would put them back on the map very quickly.

If Chicago trades Noah for garbage, they may as well count on Rose leaving. It's why the original idea of a trade in this thread was so laughable.

I like the idea. If Portland can get one of these bigs with this 'garbage'. They will be set up pretty well for the rest of the season. There are several teams tanking so who knows what might be available to Portland.

When is Rose leaving? He is under contract for 3 more years after this one with no PO, ETO or TO. The only way he goes anywhere is if he is traded or retires.

How is this idiotic? Honestly I don't see Chicago doing it. Noah is an all star caliber player. It's not idiotic if you're getting the best player (who is a great person too)

If I am Chicago I do it. I like Noah, but he has weaknesses. To get a young center, PF. C/PF, and CJ who would fit well with Rose……I would not hesitate to pull that one.

For Portland…no. too much imo. Noah is not that much better than Lopez. Again he is better, but not enough to give them CJ and TRob and Joel

Chicago wins with defense and no one in that trade offer plays any at all not sure they would be willing to completely change their team dynamic like that.
