He still only shoots about 33% from deep. So even though I like him, I still think we overrate him.

I don't think that we know that he "still shoots" that percentage from deep. Reports had him putting in tons of work on his shot over the summer that were resulting in a much better performance. It would have been good to see how that translated in the bubble, but that fall and the "syncopal episode" kept him from playing. I'm looking forward to seeing him when the new season gets underway. Hopefully, his shot is as improved as Dame indicated in this article:

I was talking about Covington. I agree I think Little can beat that mark.

Looks like Paul George may be out in LA I like a CJ McCollum for George. Think it is a win win for both teams
No.
Just no.

Not saying Paul George isn't talented, and is definitely a better defender than CJ, but at this point he is too damaged goods. On the plus side, Dame could wave goodbye to him across the lockerroom.

An All-NBA player for a guy who will never be an All-Star (making all-nba money). Certainly one team wouldn't do that trade, but it's not Portland.

OKC might just keep him to meet the minimum salary cap rule, but I wonder if we can do a three way with them and PHX to land Oubre. He's owed 15 mil next season.

Just tearing it all down in OKC.

It's really smart. If they trade Adams, I bet they find a contender for Rubio too and trade Green's expiring contract at the deadline. This team is about building around SGA and Oubre now, they'll want one more young player with star potential and then role players to complement those guys. It's smart.

I'd add picks to make it happen. I do think they'll get better than CJ and picks but maybe they'd go for it.

So, I'll just amend my Sixers deal. CJ for Harris #21 and their pick next year completed after the draft just like the RoCo deal.

We then use the MLE or part of it on Dunn and the BAE on Noel and we have a serious shot at a championship.

Dame, Gary, RoCo, Harris, Nurk, Zach, Hoodie, Dunn, Noel as the rotation with Nas, Wenyen, Rio, Ant picking up spot minutes with the 21st and 46th pick kicking it on the bench.

If Sacramento really wants off of Ilyasova's contract (they might, they don't need him and might want the savings), then this trade would make sense for both teams:

SAC Gets: Cash
POR Gets: Ersan Ilyasova (TPE), 35th Pick

Portland would then have the 35th and 46th picks.

They could use both to trade up or take two rookies Ilyasova would fit the roster as a backup 4 whos a solid defender and 3pt shooter.

We could also use him in a trade to bring back up to $12M in salary.

If we attached him with Mario (after 12/5) that number could be up to $14M.

I like the thought for the trade routes it opens up and not for keeping Ilyasova who I believe has lied for his age and is actually 65 years old.
