Okay this guy is just a hack that bought a checkmark.
 


This guy only tweets about Utah stuff. Also there's no fucking way Sexton is worth an unprotected 1st and Beasley is worth a top 5 protected 1st.
 
Vanderbilt? Get ‘er done. Low cost. Don’t wait. Getting back under is not difficult.
Trade Nurkic. I hope he goes to a good organization like Toronto.
I hope Cronin surprises us and gets two “smaller” trades done (include Vando) … or actually hauls in a big one.

I like Vanderbilt a lot. Long, rangy defender. Young, 3 and D guy. Would instantly, easily be our best perimeter defender. Still room to grow being only 23

I went back and looked at what he was saying leaving up to the Mitchell deal. He had like 10 tweets about a UTA/NY/LA 3-way that was supposedly "in the final stages", and had nothing involving Cleveland. He's a fraud.

vanderbilt isnt even average 3-point shooter as of now (just cause he hit 4 3-pointers against trail blazers, that doesnt make him a 3-point shooter, theres a reason why nurk let him wide open every time)

hes career 28.2% on 0.4 attempts per game

this season, hes 33.3% on 1.1 attempts per game

nurk is more of a stretch 5 than vanderblit is 3&D guy

I don't know if this is true or not, but it has been something I have thought about. Nas is locked up for an additional 4 years at a decent salary. That could be attractive to the Jazz.

Vanderbilt 0-2 last night but 11 rebounds in just 18 minutes

Jazz will most likely include Dok or another filler in the trade. Jazz front office love Nassir Little 7'2" wingspan. All their trade targets are prioritizing length.

Why would they need filler? Vanderbilt's and Little's salaries almost a perfect match. Tends to make me also think this guy knows nothing.
BTW, who or what is Dok?

And why would Utah trade Vanderbilt for Little; Little is only a year younger?

They wouldn't need filler because they have a TPE that can bring Nas in that this guy obviously either doesn't know about or forgot about. If they didn't then they would need filler coming back because Nas has a poison pill contract this year due to his extension that gives him a raise next year... for salary matching purposes Nassir's outgoing value is 6.4M. Again, if it's Nas going to the Jazz it doesn't matter because they have a TPE from the Ingles trade with us that is over 9M and Nas doesn't bring their cap number up the poison pill provision is just for salary matching purposes in trades.

Depends, Im not sure a guy like Vanderbilt takes us to the next level. However, If a player like Annouby?, Siakam, Butler, Durant are made available then whatever it takes.

I'm with you, I definitely don't want Cronin overspending on role players unless he's already landed a star to put next to Dame. I do think if he's getting good value on a role player like Vanderbilt let's say it is Justise and two second rounders, then I'm cool with him getting us more size and pieces that will complement what we already have.

So for me he should be working hard to get stars and even overpay for them if necessary and also working hard to get bargains on role players to make both our starting lineup and our bench make more sense.
 
Keeping the dream alive. But would you like this trade and would the Nets do it if they had a trade for Kyrie that got them the young pieces that this trade doesn't have or even if they just got the two picks from LA and Russ?

Oh and I'd want to send all three of our seconds that we would still have available and even a possible pick swap to Utah along with Justise to add Vanderbilt to our bench.

From what I understand, he is a mix of Nurkic, Meyers and Whiteside. It is just too many flags we already know. For exmp, he's got the size, big body, but he doesn't really like to be in the paint. He prefers to shoot swish3 (and is good at it) like Meyers . With his body, he should me monster, but - like Nurk - chooses not to use it much. Just like Nurk and Whiteside, he got this beast motor in him, but it goes on and off. Sometimes he is interested in game, sometimes not. If you want more similarities, he's lost his place in starting lineup at some point and I don't know if he is as unhappy as Nurk was, but surely it is not good for lottery draft pick, that supposed to be main piece in Orlando.
As for your question about defense, "his strengths are better when played next to someone who can handle primary rim protection", I read, so not really encouraging.
I mean. He is good for backup C but his on-off motor is a big NoNo for me.

Thats the kind of trade that would give Dame a decent shot at a ship for the next three years or so.

I think Bamba is the perfect role playing C for Chauncey's system and I don't see him as having an on/off motor as much as I see him as having been given inconsistent opportunities. He doesn't live on the perimeter like Meyers, half of his shots are threes and the other half are in the paint. Defensively he's exactly what we need. He's also more mobile than any of the three guys you are comparing him to... he defends the perimeter and is able to recover to defend the rim. He just happens to be playing behind guys that are better than him... if I could get Carter instead of him I would, if I could get Wagner instead I would but those guys aren't being shopped and Mo is.

If this part is true, I would not give them Hart for him. A player with a 9'7" standing reach (and a 7' 10" wing) should be a rim protector.
Might as well roll the dice with Badji and keep Hart.

I think Badji will develop and be a beast on the defensive end.

That's a tough one. It's hard for me to let Sharpe go. Also this trade(s) would leave us with no guards except Lillard and Keon. It would be scary. :)

Dame, Keon, Gary, Nas who for sure can play the 2 and Sumner who is coming back in the trade. I think Nas would start at the 2, KD and Jerami at forward and Claxton at 5, we would have the same challenging backup big problem unless the Jazz took Justise and the three second rounders this leaves us for Vanderbilt. Our bench would still have Gary coming off of it and we would look for Trendon and/or Drew to step up.

The team would have a shot at the title this season and then would likely build out the bench with ring chasers this off season and be the favorites going into 2023-24 for the title.
