...Ben Zobrist, Chase Utley, Cliff Lee, Jeff Samardzija, Alex Rios. Jason Hammel, Ian Kennedy.

...just spitballing.

Since Kennedy had that great year in 2011 he's been less then average to say the least. But I like the thought of Rios & I'd love Samardzija.

...if they can't trade for a front end starter they may have to settle for someone like Kennedy who's not bad at all and who'd be a solid #3 (3.72 this year with a WHIP of 1.17 and is striking out 9.6 batters per game...not exactly average)...and I always liked Zobrist...he's a ball player.

I said he's been less than average since the 2011 season. And yes Zobrist would be a nice addition.

...and I pointed to THIS year, which is a better measurement than what happened last year or the year before and is above average.

I'd take it (them) in a heart beat right now...! With or without vaseline or spit....!

I'd only protect Tanaka, McCann, and Ellsbury. Other's-all expendable...! Perhaps...?

where do the yanks need help besides the rotation?

the giants could use a starter and a 2nd baseman, id love for them to grab zobrist

Correction: (of course we all know The Captain is NOT expendable), plus I'd not let go of Solarte, or Whitely....!

They are just falling apart. And when I saw Hudson get his ass kicked the other day all I could think was, "Its a fucking epidemic"

they werent as good as their record was but i think they can regroup and start at least playing .500 i mean shit

...there's a lot of parity in both leagues and SF is just going through a rough stretch right now.

...They'll still be there for the PS sweepstakes.

I'd take Price for his stones alone in pitching little poopi high and tight.

I thought Mr. Price simply threw it right down the middle, and it was Shrek's beer belly that was hanging out over the plate....~

...I'd like Price too. But I didn't mention him because; 1. I don't think there's any way the Rays trade him within the division. ..and 2. He made a VERY strong comment last year about not wanting to play for the Yanx because of their no facial hair policy.

God Damn, I was gonna say!

Double God Dam I was gonna say!

LMAO......Triple God Damn, how could I forget...? Where's that bottle of Geritol...?

I'm getting tunnel blind....Yep, I'd keep all them too, and lure/recall O'Neill out of retirement...!

I'd make Betances a closer, to see how he handles it. I always like Robinson more as a set up man....Gardner, IMO, is overpaid, 15 mil...? I don't see him being worth that. Tho' I'd like to see him in LF, but not for 15 mil.

I'm right there with you on giving Betances a shot as closing. Was not all that warm and fuzzy about D-rob following Mo, they guy man has had some adventuresome innings out there. Betances is just flat out scary, now have Mo come and teach him that cutter. I'm right there with Gardners salary but he's made some great plays in the field. Gardner reminds me a bit oh Hunter Pence, a bit awkward in places but a contributor at some of the most right times.

I'm with you on all those points.... ya' know I never thought of Gardner as a Hunter Pence, but yeah, I can see this as a good comparison.

Only differences I've seen is: Pence hits with more power, and Brett steals more bases.

...Betances with a Mo-like cutter?...that would be other-worldly.

Pence is the only player I've ever seen that has his pants pulled up ABOVE his knees (no bullshit).

It wasn't as high in the past but this year it is,https://www.google.com/search?q=hun...wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FHunter_Pence;2079;3119

Scroll up to the single shot of him batting that I blew up.

I wonder why Betances hasn't been shown Mo's Cutter..? The opportunity was there last year, and in 011....Great Point, why no Mo' patented cutter....?
