If that is true the Blazers need to figure out a way to make this guy their starting center.

Dame was not this level of player when the majority of voting happened[/QUOTE
SGA is from Hamilton, Ontario - near Toronto - so he has all of Canada voting for him, most likely. How the hell is SGA higher than Dame...
This is us. We are multiple second round picks.
Cuz he's a good defender and rebounder and can switch effectively onto guards. I like the idea of him playing backup CWhy do we need a mediocre 6'8'' wing/undersized PF?
lol... okayI like the idea of him playing backup C
Whats so funny?lol... okay

I only quoted nine words, not much to choose from.Whats so funny?
Tell me how you dont know about Jarred Vanderbilt without explicitly telling me you dont know about Jarred Vanderbilt.I only quoted nine words, not much to choose from.
He’s a great defender but not a rim protector. You don’t want him at the 5Cuz he's a good defender and rebounder and can switch effectively onto guards. I like the idea of him playing backup C
Have you seen Eubanks chase around guards after Chauncey asks him to switch P&Rs? Would look much better if JV was doing that. He’s a great defender but not a rim protector. You don’t want him at the 5

We can bring him in for Winslow 1 for 1. Just need to move GB out in a dump as well and we'd be below the taxsmall ball seems to be our best team. He’d be perfect fit in that situation. Would love to get him problem is his damn contract

Lol... Okay
I didn't know Winslow was our backup center.Trading a 6'6 winslow for a 6'8 vando is "getting smaller?"
Have a look at Vanderbilts rebounding numbers while youre at it.
At the moment, with Nurk injured, Trendon Watford is our backup center. But Vanderbilt certainly plays bigger than Watford does.I didn't know Winslow was our backup center.
Dude missed the point in all his lol-ing and derision and condescension. Not worth explaining. At the moment, with Nurk injured, Trendon Watford is our backup center. But Vanderbilt certainly plays bigger than Watford does.
Arguing that he plays bigger than Watford doesn't mean we need to trade for him so he can play backup center. We need size even more with Nurk out.At the moment, with Nurk injured, Trendon Watford is our backup center. But Vanderbilt certainly plays bigger than Watford does.

We had Winslow playing backup C on occasion. Not sure why people think Vando can't do that.
Rather winslow than watford/eubans switching onto guards. You don’t want Winslow playing 5 either![]()
You have spoken. We could use some Vandolorian in Portland. This is the way.
Rather winslow than watford/eubans switching onto guards.
Our coach insists on this being the strategy.
JV would thrive in that role for 10-15 mpg
I agree eubanks and watford are not ideal doing what they’re doing.
but cleaning the glass’s numbers for vando when he’s at the 5 are pretty grim. He’s not a shooter or a rim protector, which makes him hard to fit unless he has a rim protector next to him and tons of shooters everywhere else.
