I WAS KINDA BORED SO I WENT TO THE ESPN TRADE MACHINE TO TRY SOME NETS TRADES HERE IS WAT I CAME UP WITH...TELL ME WAT U THINK...

EXPLANATION OF EACH TRADE:

Trade 1: we need shooters. wally nd jones would b great additon nd we would b giving them a back up to zee nd varajo in swift nd expering contracts...great deal.

Trade 2: the nets need shooters nd toughness nd they get that in Julian Wright Melvin Ely Rasual Butler nd the hornets r looking to dumb some money to sign paul for a LONG time.

Trade 3: the pistons were quoted that no1 is save nd that every1 but prince is safe..wallace would b GREAT for us nd in return the pistons get a young point gaurd a tremendous player in S williams nd a good back up PF in swift nd hassel just to make the deal work.

Trade 4 : i know Minnesota just got mike miller but he would b our starting SF nd he will b our pure shooter to help out VC nd Minnesota would get some1 to back up AL Jefferson.

Trade 5: i know this might sound weired but dealing with the knicks isnt a bad idea and since they are trying to dumb money y not helpo them? give us a “fallen angel” in Q rich nd our starting PF in lee nd in return they get van horns dumb contract in soft nd some1 more proven then curry nd also a back up to zach in swift.

Trade 6: this 1 is a tricky 1 but its possible since the suns have many “two” guards and they are trying also to dumb money to sign amare in 2010 i think its possible (maybe with out hill)

Trade 7: this was i was talkin about..since the suns want to slow down and play half court offense nd play defense they have too many guards we would give them a nice additon and a back up to ither shaq or amare in swift nd he is a great shoot blocker

trade 8: this 1 i think is about 65% might happen…ron is in a bad position in sac town he might not want to b here right now because all of the rebuilding we r doing but come 2010 he will b a new man and might actually b that missing piece in the puzzle


trade 9: this 1 is a bit tricky. because the jazz have proven that they cant win with boozer nd AK 47 deep in the playoffs (hint denver nd see wat happened to camby) we get a shooter in korver our missing post player in boozer nd if he is determined millsip might b 6th man nd in return get a back up to deron williams in M williams a shot blockers in S willians ans swift nd expering contracts in hassel van horn nd a Ager.

trade 10: we can get a combo gaurd in Daniels to back up VC and a “fallen angel” in haywood. in return they get a back up to Jamison in swift expering contract in hassel nd van horn.

Trade 11: Toronto just got alot of players in Kapono’s position and maybe they r lookin to unload players to sign bosh in 2010..lets give it a try nd in return they get expiring contracts and isnt that wat NBA teams look look for?

Trade 12: the lakers have said they wanted to ship odom nd we r in need of a SF nd i think this deal might just work...

and also i like to note that u cant do sign and trades cuz i have alot of ideas for kristc nd boki but idk if salaries match up.

love the effort and love the time you put in to this but most of these trades involve us only giving hassel and swift to get solid players in return. I think it's going to be really hard to trade hassel due to 2 more years on his contract. swift and hassel are very unatractive pieces and a lot of these teams are contenders so they probably won't just want to give away their players unless their like Denver. But even Denver would rather get just a second round pick for camby rather than getting hassell or swift
 
Trade # 1 : No way in hell.
Trade # 2: Its ok from the nets POV.. but it kills cap space for 2010. No way N.O accepts the trade though.
Trade # 3: You're out of your mind.
Trade # 4: Would have loved it if we did that before we got Hayes and Najera and simmons.. No need for miller now. Plus Twolves wont give him up.
Trade # 5: No need for it now... we need to give our young bigs a chance to prove themselves...
Trade # 6: Best trade so far. I like Raja and his contract (2010) And Hill's contract expires next season.
Trade # 7: Two words.. HELL YEAH!
Trade # 8: Why would SAC do that? but from our POV bring Ron on.
Trade # 9: Boozer will probably demand alot of cash after this season.. which we dont want to do.. plus Korver back to NJ? haha Im not too sure on this one.
Mislap is good though.
Trade #10: Eh.. Its ok we can do better than that.
Trade #11: Kapono.. interesting.. why not?!
Trade #12: No.
 
BUT I THINK THE FREE AGENT CLASS OF 2010 IS ON EVERY NBA TEAM'S MIND CUZ THEY EITHER HAVE ONE OF THE FREE AGENTS OR TRYING TO GET ONE OF THE FREE AGENTS..SO THEY WILL WANT EXPERING CONTRACTS ND DEALS ONLY FOR 2 YRS SO THEY CAN HAVE THE ROOM TO SIGN BIG NAMED PLAYERS TO THE THEIR RESPECTIVE TEAM...WAT DO U GUYS THINK???

I think i would like that trade...But i think the Lakers would have to add Kobe to the Nets to make the trade work.

Well, BIGMOE, a lot of those trades seem unrealistic, but there are so many that one or two of them must be possible.

I hope you had fun making them, anyway.
 
I didnt even read what his trades were and it wasnt personal....it was more a reactive satire to the 100,000th "What if the Nets traded for....." thread to be posted since the season ended....

You don't know what your missing out.

The Jazz and Lakers trades were pretty good.
 
lol i didnt mean that the nets do all 11..its just sarcastic...like they are ideas...obviously not every1 would work but they r hopes...let a man dream for the nets LOL

He linked to a trade, that would happen this year, and had the Nets receiving Bosh and Lebron.

Cavs get:
Carter + Marcus + Hassell

and give:
Lebron and Varajao

Raptors get:
Sean + KVH + Stro + Ager

and give Bosh.
 
in 2010 lebron will b in a nets uniform nd so will either bosh, or amare
 
As a Nets fan, I'll take it.

But I'm pretty sure the Cavs and Raptors fans would hunt down their teams GMs and kill them.
