Didn't you use to be a Bulls fan? It would make sense that you would still have some bias still lying around.

Just being realistic.

You have the Bulls giving up like 2 rotation players and a prized rookie for a guy who they do not need or want.

They would be better off making that offer to Sacto for DMC.

Barring something unexpected happening that makes an established All-Star available at a reasonable price, the most I can see is some sort of consolidation trade at the PF spot involving some combination of Aminu, Davis and filler. Otherwise, we're under the luxury tax threshold for this year so just play the guys we have and see who develops next year, then make a big trade next summer if warranted.

He's only 6'8. He can't shoot for shit (25.7% from three last season) and I'm concerned he can't be a PF long term.

What an AWFUL idea for Milwaukee. I don't give them a chance in hell of re-signing him if they go through with that.
I don't think he is a terrible shooter (form wise), I think he'd raise his % here easily. I mean, everyone outside of Middleton doesn't hit threes in Milwaukee lol

There's no way OKC agrees to that either.

They don't have the pieces to trade for DMC. Valentine is their only valuable, going piece. Sure Mirotic is okay but he's 25/26 ish.

They need a backup C (Plumlee) and they're loaded at PF with Portis and Gibson (making Mirotic expendable). Then they give up a late lotto pick for a guy who can get you 20ppg and they're able to bring him off the bench.

Yeah, such a bad trade...

Or

POR Gets: DMC, Matt Barnes, Darren Collison

SAC Gets: Meyers Leonard, Moe Harkless, Mason Plumlee, Noah Vonleh, '17 POR 1st, '18 CLE 1st, '19 POR 1st, Right to Swap '20 POR 1st

Lillard (33) / Collison (15)
McCollum (35) / Crabbe (10) / Lillard (3)
Turner (30) / Crabbe (18) / Barnes
Aminu (26) / Davis (18) / Cousins (4)
Cousins (31) / Ezeli (17)
Matt Barnes? Matt Fucking Barnes? No, no, no, no, fuck no, no, hell no, fuck no, NO, NO, NONONONONO!

I don't want that scumbag anywhere near our roster.

Plus, think of all the dead fish floating down the Willamette when he bathes every six weeks or so...
Then we'll take Caspi instead?

HELL NO. The salaries wouldn't work either (Poison Pill)

"If this player is traded during the 2011-12 season, then his outgoing salary from the sending team's perspective is his actual salary -- $2 million. But the player's incoming salary from the receiving team's perspective is $8.94 million -- the average of all five seasons. Such a player would be very difficult to trade -- a legal trade can only be accomplished if both teams add additional salary to the transaction, or if they include a third team that is able to absorb excess salary."

Cousins is roughly 17 million.

CJ+Meyers would be roughly 12.5 million. Need another 3ish million to make it work. Vonleh maybe.

Sac is under the cap, so I think they can absorb the poison pill.

I still don't see the Bulls doing it. There are rumors of a Taj for Gay deal, which is much better for them if they actually want Rudy Gay. And they have Rondo and Wade at guard and Jimmy Butler at SF. They also spent a lot of "political capital" on McDermott, he'll be their backup SF.
