Bogut would be ok, if we were one piece away, but we're not, so he's not. We need someone younger.
And if we're going for an older guy, I'd much rather have Tyson chandler.
Cattle prods would help, just not sure if we should use them on our players or have our players use them on the opposing team.
So, from the tip through the final buzzer then!... or the Blazers start slacking on D
10m per is pretty much a bench player's salary nowadays, Leonard will not be hard to move. There's still talent there and teams will always believe they can get the best out of a player. Just don't expect much of a return, which I'm ok with.

Leonards $9.2M this year is under 10% and next year the cap will be over $100M. So 9% isn't that much. No, it's not. 10 mil is over 10% of the cap. Teams usually have 7 bench players and they starters get a lion's share of the overall team salary. So do the math, this statement is just wrong, wrong, wrong.

How does 9.7% round to over 10% lol.Ok, it's 9.7% I'm sorry for rounding. But that doesn't change the math. If you think it does, you didn't understand the point.

I understand your point, but there are teams that would surely want Leonard in a trade. Brooklyn and Dallas would be the teams I'd expect to want him the most. Dallas has no centers behind Bogut who's getting old and expiring and Brooklyn has no centers behind Lopez who they'll probably trade. Brooklyn also offered $18M a year to Crabbe so $9M for Leonard is nothing.
Exactly.Agreed 100%.
For those who consider Meyers Leonard untradeable, I have two words: Andrea Bargnani.
In the summer of 2013, immediately after the worst season of a rather lackluster career, Andrea Bargnani, who was making $11.8 million/year (and those are real, old-CBA, 2013 dollars, not 2016 funny money) was traded to the New York Knicks for the following:
Marcus Camby
Steve Novak
Quentin Richardsom
2014 2nd round pick
2016 1st round pick
2017 2nd round pick
For comparison, Meyers is currently making $9.2 million in 2016-17 dollars. And Bargnani was NOT an expiring contract, He had two full years left on that contract at the time of the trade.
This just proves that ANYONE is tradeable, and there is always someone dumb enough to overpay to take out your trash.

I think you try hard to keep Harkless if you go after George. McCollum, Plumlee, Vonleh, and a couple firsts if possible. Then trade Crabbe or whoever for Noel to give you a starting lineup ofis paul george a difference maker on defense if the cost is McCollum,Harkless and a first?
They better fit a miles turner development timeline age wise if Pacers move to rebuild. Still doesn't address our interior defense but would shore up the wings with an all nba first and second teamer.

Lillard, George, Harkless, Aminu, Noel.
The switch potential for that lineup would be amazing.
To align their timeline with Turner? Idk. It was hypothetical.I will ask you what was asked of me when I proposed this same scenario.
Why is Indiana gonna trade PG?
I didn't have a good answer. Do you?

There’s basically no chance the Pacers trade Paul George, Adrian Wojnarowski said in his latest podcast for The Vertical: “I know teams have been calling Indiana and asking about Paul George and the answer is absolutely, positively no (to a trade). ‘He’s not available, there’s no conversation to be had, don’t even make offers to us. We’re not moving Paul George.'”

I can use that sentence with a fill in the blank for most players out there...why would anyone want to trade...answer...we have some contracts on the books that'll never be seen again for teams that need relief.I love Dieng, but why would Minnesota trade him?

I think it's sort of what everyone needs...especially teams not contending. You may be right....why would New Orleans trade Chris Paul? We're all dealing with speculation at this point. I just see what product we've put on the floor and watch teams and think...that guy would be great here. I doubt Thibs would move Dieng but on the offside chance....he'd be great here. Why does MIN need cap relief
