If CJ was on another team we'd be trying to figure out who we could package together to get him.

What was the last team to win anything with two players under 6'4 in their backcourt?
Probably Detroit with Joe Dumars/Isiah Thomas, and neither of our guys are Joe Dumars.
When was the last time a team even tried though?
I only trade CJ if we get an offer we can't refuseI see no reason the Blazers would look to move CJ...having two guards scoring 50 a game isn't a problem...I just want CJ to swap spots with AC and bring his off the bench.
We no longer have wild cards...one is in Denver and the other plays for the Nets...
Golden State with Curry and Monta. Phoenix tends to try to stick two point guards in their backcourt. They had Dragic/Bledsoe and now they have Knight/Bledsoe. Washington is pretty close with Beal at 6'5 and Wall.
Actually, I guess Miami won with Gary Payton and Dwyane Wade, who are both under 6'5, but he wasn't technically starting.
You can't have two guys that similar and that short as a starting back court on a contending-caliber team.
Pretty good analogy, IMO.Derozen is literally a higher volume version of Henderson
I still say, everyone is operating on the flawed premise that CJ is the one to trade. You said it yourself, they're too similar. So, why trade the up-and-comer with less value? It makes no sense.
As for the Miami example, Wade and Payton were all-time great defensive players, and Wade has the wingspan of a PF. Height was not an issue. White Chocolate was the starting PG, though, wasn't he? At least one of your back court players needs to be physical. I can't imagine there are any examples of a team succeeding with two short finesse guys.
That's Golden State for ya. Theyre a royal flush If the players were other teams they'd be solid, like a high card, but together, they fit perfectly and are greater than the sum of their parts.I prefer a straight flush where all the cards in a row are stronger than a pair of aces

Dame is either the most embellished or CJ is taller now then his drafted height:Dallas would be pretty similar. They played Kidd listed at 6'4'' , Terry 6'2" and Barea 6'0"
These 3 guys got far and away the most minutes in the back court that season

Actually we would be much bigger with Dame 6'3 CJ 6'4" and Crabbe 6'6" (again these are the listed heights, I assume they are embellished for all 6 players)
It's always a little shocking seeing them next to each other. On their own CJ looks tiny, and Dame looks fairly normal.Dame is either the most embellished or CJ is taller now then his drafted height:

Wade played much larger than his size. Didn't he lead all guards in blocked shots a few years ago?Wouldn't it be Miami with Wade and Chalmers?
Are you guys so clouded in your own opinions that you don't realize that a Dame/CJ backcourt is Neils vision? It's his answer to Curry and Thompson in this modern guard dominated 3pt based NBA.
Man you have been icy on this subject lately....Cool. Trade CJ. I don't give a fuck.
