Lakers start the season with a back to back to back.
While everybody already knew that the Lakers would be taking the floor on Christmas to battle Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls, the next two days have also been revealed on the schedule. The Lakers will travel to Sacramento to take on the Kings on Dec. 26 before heading home to host the Utah Jazz on Dec. 27. This will be the first time the team has to play on three consecutive nights since the last time the league faced a shortened season due to a lockout in 1999

That B2B2B is gonna just wear on teams! Gonna' wipe 'em out! I can tell you that after a Phoenix/Dallas back to back, the HCP is WIPED out..... and I'm not even playing!

Hookers and blow!!!

Do it James Worthy style.

Schedule drops in 3 minutes! Here we go!

Only two back-to-back-to-backs, one in late Jan, and one in mid-Feb. Not so horrible.

Even though I know it's not true, I swear it looks like we have more road games than home games... *sigh*

The end of the season is rough. It is basically another six game road trip, really. Two games away, trip home for last game of the regular season at the Rose Garden, end season on three game road trip.

13 day road trip......... HOLY SNAP!

Great test for Brandon to start out against possibly the premiere perimeter defender in the league.

And April looks very favorable. I can see us going 10-4 in that month.

Each team only plays 3 non-conference teams twice.

For Portland, those teams are Milwaukee, Atlanta and Washington. Looks like we got a break there.

So no games @ Miami, Orlando, Cleveland Philly or NJ

Craziest back to backs........ Indiana-NYC and Dallas-Milwaukee! Those are crazy!

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Trail Blazers will tip-off their 42nd NBA season by hosting the Philadelphia 76ers as part of a three-game home stand, marking the third straight year the team has opened at the Rose Garden.

All 66 Trail Blazers games (33 home, 33 away) will be aired on the Trail Blazers Broadcast Television Network or national carriers. Portland's complete broadcast schedule will be available in the coming days.

Portland plays seven of its first 10 games at home and closes the season by playing five of its last six on the road. The schedule includes a six-game road trip (Jan. 13-21) and a season-high, seven-game trip (March 7-18).

The Trail Blazers will face each Western Conference opponent at least three times, including four contests with Golden State, the L.A. Clippers, New Orleans, Oklahoma City, Sacramento and Utah.

Each of Portland's four Northwest Division opponents will visit the Rose Garden twice. The Trail Blazers will make two trips to both Oklahoma City and Utah, while visiting Minnesota and Denver just once.

Portland will play 18 games against Eastern Conference opponents (nine home, nine away). The Trail Blazers will face each Eastern Conference opponent at least once, including two games against Atlanta, Milwaukee and Washington.

The 66-game schedule features two back-to-back-to-back scenarios (Jan. 23-25, Feb. 14-16) and 16 back-to-back games.

Among the top teams making the trip to the Rose City in 2011-12: the defending NBA champion Dallas Mavericks on April 13; the defending Eastern Conference champion Miami Heat on March 1 and the Western Conference rival L.A. Lakers on Jan. 5.

The Trail Blazers close out the 2011-12 NBA regular season at Utah on Thursday, April 26.

This road trip is gonna test our team's depth..........@ Spurs @ Rockets @Hornets @Atlanta @Toronto @ Detroit

That's SO MUCH TRAVEL!

And this one.......@Minny @Boston @Washington @Indiana @NYC @ Chicago @ OKC!

How many games are on CSN vs KGW? Also, how many of the NBATV games are home games (which are stupidly blacked out).
