Ladies and gentlemen this is exactly why we got Ezeli so cheap.

Personally I don't think this guy will ever be healthy to the point where you know for sure he's dependable. As a player he's solid and a good defender but weird random procedures like this just tells you all you need to know why he was so cheap and not really sought after by teams..

This is why we got a great deal on him. Plain and simple. I can't deal with players and bad knees anymore, I think blazer fans have already been through that one. Hopefully he can some what produce

This had better not be old man Oden over again...though we didn't draft Ezeli and got him for cheap...low risk....still not a good sign of things to come.

Why is it so difficult to put the actual subject as the title of the thread?
For example - "Festus Ezeli undergoes injection in left knee"

Further more, The article doesn't state shit. Was this already part of the plan for the off season? Is this a new revelation and an emergency thing? Details please.... Stupid article.... not an article. Stupid 2 sentences....

Getting this procedure is a good thing...glad to see our staff earning their checks...I trust Stackpool since they hired him. Gerald Henderson had surgery before we signed him...hip surgery. That turned out ok. Ezeli had it done at the right time...and smartly stayed out of the Olympics for Nigeria. Having the bigs we have....it's good to work them into the system up to the allstar break and get them burn later going into the playoffs....the playoffs is where Ezeli will be most valuable.

This is similar to the PRP injections Brandon went through, right? But using bone marrow aspirate cells rather than concentrated blood platelets?

No, this is more like the steroids Sammy Sosa used, but using bone marrow aspirate cells rather than steroids.

This isn't really a big deal. We all knew this already

Olshey was able to sign Ezeli at a steep discount b/c of known knee problems and, in the long term, his contract will have no impact on the team. They knew very well that he’s a high-reward, low-risk prospect who the team is likely just hoping to get some solid rotation minutes out of for 60 or so games a year and are planning accordingly.

That’s very differnet from Walton/Bowie/Oden who were expected to be all-stars and who had entire teams built around their potential.

Nothing that happens to Festus this year can turn his signing into a mistake for the Blazers. I ain't even trippin

It's an injection that will likely not even hold him out of the preseason. Just a little maintenance.

We already knew he's knees were a little iffy. Now he's doing something that could help them out and it's a negative?

This literally doesn't mean shit big picture or change anything whatsoever.
