We are so far away from competing with Golden State that if we used our picks to lower our team salary, there goes any realistic hope of improving.

not even close. A sirlion at 12 a pound isn't better then a New york at 18 a pound just because they are both streak and both overpriced but one is slightly less overpriced then the other.

I would absolutely hate it if we used a pick to get rid of Leonard. He's $10M, it's not the end of the world. I'd also hate it if we attached a pick to Crabbe to get rid but a bit less than in Leonard's case. I think there's no chance we will move Turner.

I'm sorry but I just can't see Olshey trading draft picks JUST to move salary. It literally goes against everything he has said and I know how hard he values his own players. It literally only plays into to a league assumption about where this team that has no basis in reality. If we had an owner that valued cash over everything else it would make sense, but "that dog don't hunt."
