As for @WillTheThrillB5, he'll have to go through the NBA's concussion protocol, which is a multi-day process

Aldridge's hip injury occurred during Wednesday nite's practice. "There was no contact,"Stotts said. "It was just kind of a sniper got him."

Stotts on Aldridge's hip injury: "It's not a day-to-day thing. It'll take a little time."

#Blazers coach Terry Stotts said Aldridge's hip injury is not serious, but it sounds like he will miss significant time. Return unknown.

I believe the injury is called "Veterans per season hip ouchie"

I assume at some point there was contact. Probably was a delayed reaction. At least I hope there was contact. Didn't he have surgery on his hip last summer?

See what happens mm?!?!

Btw, Williams suffered an ankle sprain too.

Wtf does that mean? Days, weeks, months?!

I've seen "hip flexor" and "left quad strain"! Which is it?

Let's hope it's not one of those nagging injuries like the one BRoy had few years back related to his foot. It nagged at him until he had to have surgery one month into the season which resulted in significant time loss.

Mystery solved RT @TrailBlazersPR: Injury clarification: Portland F LaMarcus Aldridge has a left quad strain.

Well, ESPN disagrees, and I think they know better. They are afterall the world-wide leader in sports.

After meeting with team doctors, it was determined that LaMarcus Aldridge suffered a left quad strain, instead of the previously reported hip flexor tear. This is excellent news, as a quad strain is generally far less severe. Aldridge’s time table to return has not been announced, though he tweeted that he should be able to return to the court in short order.

In the meantime he's going to work on bulking up his upper body...

... Oh wait that joke doesn't work here anymore!

Damn MM... you made this thread and then we had Aldridge, Mo, Dorrell Wright, Earl Watson, and Will Barton go down with injuries.

You jinxed us!

After Oden, Pryz, Roy injuries I don't worry at all about anything that is less than 5 games missed.

LaMarcus Aldridge (quad) returns to practice, but #Blazers lose Dorell Wright (dislocated finger) & Earl Watson (leg)

CJ hurt! Severity not known. Same foot he fractured at Leigh!

Mo Williams went down during a scrimmage and appeared to tweak his right ankle. He's shaking it off on the sideline.

CJ has a sprain. Same foot he fractured

Is MM being selective on his twitter updates?

Sent from my baller ass iPhone 5 FAMS!

Oh they took X-rays and MRI sly?

I didn't think so. Shhhhhhh
