Tribute to Meyers Leonard

I question how serious Meyer's injuries are. Reason:

I have suffered with back/disc injuries since 1976. There are many exercises to help relieve pain and discomfort. Playing BB is not one of them. Playing BB can cause more damage, it will never fix it. If he is truly suffering from disc and hip problems, he should stop playing and make things as right as possible.
But oh man, how would we ever win without him?

Of course you have the right. What I question is the way we go about it and the repetitiveness of the threads. You have moved on from him. Nothing wrong with that. I guess I just don't see the point of another thread ridiculing him.
Because no other thread had the care bear song.

This is a forum and there are many opines either bashing or congratulating players. It will always be like that and I am happy you can do both in this forum.

Other forums will straight up censor as much as possible.

Besides, if you don't like the thread or topic, then ignore it or don't read it and move on. It's that simple.

True, or I can read it and disagree with certain posts like we all do on every other thread. Personally I can only ignore for so long. But I am done now.

Someone who has seats right next to the Blazer bench mentioned that Meyers is really rude to the ball boys and turns down tons of autograph requests while the rest of the bench is really nice and grants almost every signor request. Just one fan's opinion but they were very adamant.

Nice, so he sucks as a player, and has a crappy personality. Though I'm surprised he would have that kind of attitude, coming from such a poor family, you'd think he'd be the opposite.

LMAO. And I was ridiculed in another thread when I called him a douche......

I'll remember this.

Meyers played well tonight.

That is all.
Was it his -3 for the game, or his 12 foot cushion he gave Harden at half time when the world knew he was shooting a 3, or was it the Rockets colectively smiling when he came in the game? He blocked 2 shots, was 1-3 from the field, played good defense on a couple of possessions. Dear God his bar is low for some fans

What's up with all this Russianophobia going on with the left?

Well, if Meyers makes 1 shot and has 1 good defensive possession, that's a top 5 game in the season !

I think he needs to be told to just start having fun again playing basketball. He also might need to hear from some of his teammates that they still believe in him; he looks kind of alone out there.

That's because he is. I've even seen CJ give him the cold shoulder and eye-roll a couple of times. And he gives him a glare when Butters isn't looking.

Personally, I really liked how Turner put his arms up in the air, to show Butters how to block a shot near the rim. It sucks they cut away from it. I kinda wanted to see the reaction....

(ET looked pretty frustrated. Instead of going for the block, Butters did a grab/mauling foul)

Oh and he did, he shot a sizzling 0/25/100 in the game. Scored 7 points, which is 5 more than Pat Connoughton scored in 3 minutes.

He also did a good job keeping an eye on the defenders, as hey blew past him to the rim.

What I find odd about Leonard is that he genuinely feels like he's playing great and contributing a lot to the team. He doesn't really do much out there.
