The image isn't blended very well, raise the contrast of it, then duplicate it, get the smudge tool, smudge the edges into the background, and soft light it or Screen it or something, then do the same for the BG.

Looks a bit better, but you have to do the same thing to the BG and even it out so both the image and BG is bright, and get rid of the sportsaddicted.com, or change the font, make it a pixel font, and change it to soft light.
