Isn't that the same basic argument the gun rights supporters use, if you ban guns, only the criminals will have them. if you ban muslims from coming, only the bad ones will enter. you do nothing to keep the terrorists out, you just keep good ones away and make the millions living here currently feel more ostracized and perhaps more likely to turn like some have in France.
