I don't care one way or the other, since yeah, presidents do have more important stuff to do. However, he actually would have to do important stuff first.
 
I won't be there but I have the best sense of humour. Everyone says so. In fact, I submitted some jokes to be told in my absence.

How many have gone to this event?
I suppose Obama went because he is a true clown.
Then I suppose Bush (GW) went because everyone said he was a clown.
I suppose Trump wants to leave it to the clowns.
 
Reagan couldn't attend because of the assassination attempt..he was recovering...Nixon was the last US president to refuse to attend....coincidence?

A Trump speech at a news media dinner....he'd have nothing to say really...out of material. "I'd like to thank......uh..no I wouldn't....nice to see .....uh not it's not...all the wonderful.....uh no their not.......it would just be awkward like all his speeches

Well to be blunt, I think he just told them to GFT. It seems about right to me since the ones I have watched were just all about making Republicans look silly.

Maybe it's his way of saying that he won't be president when that event happens.
 
I keep hearing that Millennials are special snowflakes who need safe spaces to avoid being triggered.

Apparently, Trump is a Millennial? Though, he got his parents' help to survive after college and had no student debt, so I guess that shoots my theory to hell.
 
I really really really hope Alec Baldwin goes and pretends to be him.
