The Secret Service background checks everyone who visits the White House. I doubt this chucklefuck would have been given approval without someone in the administration okaying it.

Conspiracy theories typically end up being "nothing burgers"...and I believe that's what this is...if I'm wrong, I'll gladly acknowledge it.

Does anyone really believe Trump/Torrio are conspiring to overthrow the government?...I seriously doubt that Trump specifically "invited" anyone.

id like to think im wrong but i really just dont know. Everything is so static and cutthroat.
So many facets out there willing to use threats and violence as a means to push or uphold a political or domestic ideal.

and this goes for both ends of the political spectrum.

debate and the work of stateman has all but been abolished in favor of hardline stances. And political threats of violent transitions.

even if its just messing with or try to stir shit up at inauguration, that could be the ignition to start the fire of chaos.

Any uprising by he proud boys or some other fringe group would be quickly put down, period...this whole thing reeks of paranoia IMO.
 
Not paranoia. Simply discussing the options as to why he is there and what is true vs not, about the reporting of it all.


One could take an alternate stance and say, to think nothing is going on and its paranoia is being blind aNd basically supporting the ties our leader has with those who lead Controversial fringe groups that tend to instigate violence to push thier political agenda.

I agree. While the presence of Proud Boys is NOT a good look for America, I think we need to take a step back and quit clutching our pearls so tightly. I remember 2016 and the total meltdown of the “libtards”. Not just in Washington, but all over the country (remember Antifa breaking car windows, etc in Portland??). I was beside myself that Trump was “elected” (a steal that was never stopped) but even I could not condone the violence and damage. This “Stop The Steal” Rally” is the right’s “safe space” and is relatively small. In 2016, tens of thousands of (mostly) women marched in Washington wearing their pink hats and protesting against Trumps election. They made the current sore losers look like rank amateurs. And the right didn’t know whether to shit or go blind. But they were certainly snotty about it.

I guess my point is.........remember how we felt and how inconsolable we were. Agree with the Magatts or not, they too have the right to voice their displeasure so long as they do it legally. Rather than getting too upset, I’m actually enjoying the moment, just as they so very much did in 2016. As @Fez Forthright says, their tears are so fucking delicious. And the longer and harder the right whines, the more delicious their tears are. God ‘Ol Uncle Mitch says, “elections have consequences”.....and that swings both ways. There’s nothing that says the whole table can’t be flipped over again in 2024, so let’s enjoy the side show, knowing the Dark Ages are gone next month......
 
This is more sabre rattling sort of like what China does to Taiwan every election cycle but it's still dangerous sabre rattling given the protests and riots that led up to this election. Trump just simply enjoys enabling bad behavior and insulting anyone who doesn't adore him. Childish but dangerous behavior. He's an asshole magnet.

I've given Trump an eviction notice seeing as how I own the place....I want real americans to live there, not fake presidents who have dictators mentoring them

Yup, a lot of people seem very edgy right now, and understandably so. Like you said, it was pretty much the same way in 2016...but now the shoe is on the the other foot and now the Reps are butt hurt. But they'll eventually get over it and that combined with light at the end of the tunnel with respect to covid19, hopefully, we'll be back to close to normal by the middle of next year...and return to some semblance of sanity again in the USA.


But yeah, like I said earlier, "I wash my ass in MAGA tears".

well of course. Question is which side will they be on? So far law enforcement, military, national guard, etc have been doing Trumps work.

now i would hope the military would follow courts judgments but what if they disagree with courts not giving full and fair trials to the election fraud claims? What if the military stand next to Trump?

im not saying they will or wont. And i agree the military will win. I just dont know where that allegiance lies and whether its even unified or not?
