Donald Trump launches incendiary attack on Bubba Wallace demanding NASCAR star 'apologize' for noose 'hoax' and slamming racing bosses for banning Confederate flags - but Lindsey Graham says president is WRONG
  • President Trump attacked Bubba Wallace, demanding the only Black NASCAR driver apologize to those who supported him during an investigation of a noose
  • Noose was found by one of Wallace's crew in his stall at Talladega
  • FBI was asked to investigate and found it was tied that way to open and close the garage door and it was not a hate crime
  • 'Has @BubbaWallace apologized to all of those great NASCAR drivers & officials who came to his aid, stood by his side, & were willing to sacrifice everything for him, only to find out that the whole thing was just another HOAX,' Trump said
  • Wallace had not seen or reported the noose but thanked FBI for its work
  • 'I think we'll gladly take a little embarrassment over what the alternatives could have been,' he said at the time
  • Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, a close Trump ally, said Wallace has nothing to apologize for
  • 'Well, I don't think Bubba Wallace has anything to apologize for,' he said

Haven't the ratings pretty much stayed the same?

Plus, shouldn't he have, oh I don't know, more important things to worry about as President?

My kids, who are “woke” as hell watched the Brickyard 400 the other day. Their first NASCAR viewing

I didn't watch it. Not because of some secret reason that I believed this was a publicity stunt (I don't). But because I just don't give a shit about cars going in a circle really fast.

Trump has no convictions or moral compass...he's just a huge egotistical blowhard with a need for adoring fans ...the presidency is a game to him, not a serious responsibility

It has become more and more apparent that trump wants the title but not the responsibility.

Let me remind you just how abrasive your avatar is. Why, if one didn't know better, one might think you did it on purpose.

Here, here.
When I lived in Atlanta one summer, we lived about a mile from the Atlanta Speedway. All I could hear was loud cars going round and round. You had to get used to it or it would drive you mad. You can see what it did to me.

Trump is needing to harden his base. Corona virus surges in red states and one of his Supreme Court nominees voted for gay rights.

Suburban white women narrowly backed Trump in 2016 but supported Democrats in 2018 and are massively behind Biden this year. Trump hopes to win them back using racism, white women need him to protect us from scary black and brown men.

Backed into a corner all he has left to run on is racism.

All left turns. Having been to the Brickyard race one year, I can unequivocally say it was the most boring sporting event I have ever been to in my life-- and this is coming from someone who spent 8 hrs at a Cricket match, and 12 hrs in the infield of the Kentucky Derby to get a glimpse of a 2 minute race.

I once went to an event with my brother in law, that was so boring I've actually forgotten what it was. We had to wait around with other fans of the sport in a field before whatever the show was. Probably a football thing. Anyways, not knowing anything about the team involved, or the history of it (or the nuances of the game) I was literally bored out of my mind.

Although honestly, if it was something like that for the Blazers I'd get bored too. I'm not big on tailgating type stuff.

As I was saying, it was seriously the most boring thing I've ever been a part of. Outside of my brother in law, I knew no one there. And he pretty much ignored me to talk to his friends who where there (understandably so), so I pretty much was left to my own devices wandering around the area. After 3-4 hours of this, I seriously wanted to walk home. And this was in Southern California. And I lived in the Portland area.

Even thinking about it has given me a knot in my stomach...

All that said, I'd STILL rather do that again than go to a nascar race.

watching traffic road rage was never entertaining to me....actually watching anyone run around in circles is boring..cars, dogs, people, horses....boring....I can see how Trump gets excited about running around in circles....seeing anyone run must be like a fantasy for him

Well, he's certainly up there but he still has a way to go before he can be crowned the "king of turds."

Just paste Trumps face on that pile of shit and we are good
