He can pardon her at any time while he's still president, doesn't matter if she's been convicted yet.

Not sure you can pardon an investigation and a judge not allowing bail.

The only reason he would pardon her is she has pics of him with underage girls.

It is interesting that she wanted the head of the SDNY fired and Trump & Barr did exactly that right before her arrest.

She got dirt on Donny.
If there is dirt like that it is pretty bad.

I can't, but he can pardon her for any and all crimes, charged or uncharged - see e.g. Ford's pardon of Nixon.

You can pardon the reason for any federal investigation of an American resident that is not Congressionally mandated.

Actually that is partially correct but not exactly. The Pardon of Nixon was a proclamation before the impeachment process proceeded yes. But Congress also dropped the process after his resignation. The president cannot drop or pardon impeachment charges. So i tend to believe what Ford said. "Ford, who had succeeded to the presidency upon Nixon's resignation, explained that he felt the pardon was in the best interests of the country and that the Nixon family's situation was "a tragedy in which we all have played a part. It could go on and on and on......" The shear magnitude of the corruption was extensive and he covered everyone's ass. The rest just played along.
Article II section 2 is pretty clear. "The pardon power of the President applies only to convictions under federal law.[42]"

At this point yes her charges are federal charges. But if any state decides to pick up charges against her he cannot pardon her. At this point multiple states are looking into bringing up charges as well. Sounds like the first will be New York.
In my humble opinion Ghislaine Maxwell is a turd nobody will want to touch. Even Trump.

You think Trump supporters would care? Remember he could shoot people on Fifth Avenue and they would still support him. Of three biggest Trumpers on this board, two would say her indictment is fake news from deep state and one has made it clear as long as he can force his will on women's bodies he doesn't much care how corrupt and incompetent Trump is. Hundreds of thousands dead from Corona virus, tend of millions unemployed and losing businesses, Russia takes out bounties on dead American soldiers, military occupation of cities tear gassing moms and beating veterans, wrecking and corrupting democratic institutions, insulting allies, grovelling before dictators, using presidency to enrich himself. All these are OK so you think they care much about rape of underage girls? As long as any who become pregnant are forced to carry to term.

Except for his stand on abortion ABM is not a full supporter of Trump. ABM really prefers Kasich whom I hope ABM votes for this November.

Sure, that's what he says. His actions at times tell a different story. He's still supporting trump and other than some shenanigans by trump roe vs wade is still on the books and not going to go away before this next election.

You are of course correct that he can only pardon federal, not state, crimes.

No, no President can pardon anyone high in the federal government from impeachment but that is not something that deals with violating the law except in a very indirect way. He also can only pardon for federal violations and not state ones. He can pardon for any violation of a federal law including those that have not yet been charged.
