Hope Hicks, one of President Donald Trump’s closest aides, has tested positive for coronavirus infection, according to people familiar with the matter.

There was no indication that the president has contracted the virus, the people said. Hicks traveled with Trump aboard Air Force One to and from the presidential debate on Tuesday.

If he has COVID-19 and

DIES: Then Pence steps in as the nominee. He would seem much more stable, and more on the right would feel comfortable than Old Man Biden. Picks up a VP nominee who will appeal to MAGA COUNTRY.

LIVES: Then he can use the sympathy and say that he beat the RONA.

OCTOBER SURPRISE :NOTMARIS:

Oh the irony if it was Hope that gave Trump the rona.

President Donald Trump confirmed on Thursday night that top aide Hope Hicks has tested positive for coronavirus and said he and first lady Melania Trump were tested Thursday evening.

"She did test positive, I just heard about this. She tested positive. She's a hard worker. Lot of masks, she wears masks a lot but she tested positive. Then I just went out with a test. I'll see -- you know, because we spent a lot of time -- and the first lady just went out with a test also. So whether we quarantine or whether we have it, I don't know," Trump said during a call-in appearance on Fox News' "Hannity."

He added, "I just went for a test and we'll see what happens, I mean, who knows. ... I spent a lot of time with Hope and so does the first lady, and she's tremendous."

I'm not tempting the universe by saying "fingers crossed".

Nope. Just a funky carrot. That's it.

CNN is reporting that White House knew this for 24 hours. In the meantime, Hope Hicks has been in Air Force One, and the reporters who were also there did not get a warning.
