Mexico treats illegals from the South horribly and steals their money from what my Mexican co-workers say. One who came here illegally from Columbia paid a smuggler to take him to Florida by boat.

While one group of attorneys general planned to sue if DACA not revoked by Sept 5, another planned to sue if it was. So you can hardly declare it illegal.

The lead anti-immigrant attorney general was, not surprisingly, from Texas. The same one who told Quebec to pray instead of sending hurricane aid.
 
I'm really getting tired of people saying shit like:

They are all white now. They all bought into the construct that they are now white and separate from People of Color. All of them are 1st class citizens now. And the only reason is skin tone.

dude, that's a dangerous stereotype....I'm all for civil rights and equality but don't tell me what I've bought into ....you haven't walked in my shoes...irish have had culture wars for hundreds of years...orange and green...there's plenty of separation between sub cultures all over...I've lived a lot of my life being the only Caucasian in the neighborhood.....if we're to get past these stereotypes, we all need to get past them. Promoting the idea of across the board racism by ethnicity is not helping evolve from color coding....and I'm part native American..as are many of us....I've spent my life bucking those racial divides and so have many americans....don't need to compare either.....humans have these high intellectual ideas but emotionally, we're not that far along yet.

Refusing to acknowledge what has happened to get where we are is a mistake. No one is promoting anything. Aswer this:

Why are they all considered white now? They weren't when they came over... They were hated when they first got here...

My point is, at some point the Irish, Italians etc, decided it was OK to be called white.

Just like at some point we decided black was the proper term. Even more so than African American.

You and I didn't decide it.

There's a good mix of Democrats and Republicans who will pass a Bill. If not, Democrats are worse than anything Trump has done regarding immigrants. There are enough Republicans to make it a pretty big number of "for" votes.

I'm the whitest mother fucker here that isn't an Albino. That matters to me immensely. Why? Because I have to stay out of the sun. I live where it is 115 in the summer. I literally have to be careful not to stand in the parking lot looking at a car I'm going to fix for more than a minute

Anyone who cares what anyone has as a built-in sunscreen more than what they have to say for themselves as a person is a backwards idiot.

I've always loved Charles Barkley whether I agreed with what he says or not. Now I find out he's more white.

People seem for some reason to have turned my skin color into a culture.

It ain't.

People also seem to think there is some black culture that you have to follow the rules to fit in with. See Steve Harvey getting attacked over meeting with Trump. If that's true it seems ridiculous to me.

That certainly isn't up to me. If people of color (that's the right term as of now right?) want to have their own groups knock yourselves out.

great invention used in Asia where summers are brutal...it's called an umbrella...people in the tropics use them as shade more than to keep rain away

I think I'm a mutt. Don't even care enough to do a ancestry check.

My grandma married an American Indian guy in the late 1940s I think. Then she got divorced and married my grandpa.

I just googled his last name and it said .....The name first arose amongst the Anglo-Saxon tribes of Britain....

So, I'm probably descended from Monsters.
