I will take a real 8 month old baby over a rigged primary "winning" flip flopping "leading progressive" every day of my life.

If Putin didn't truly believe that "meddling" in US elections would turn some voters away from Hillary and/or towards Trump, why would the Russian bully even bother to order it done in the first place?

You have to admit that between the some voters who were already straddling the fence and/or the ones who were weak minded individuals to begin with, may have been influenced by the internet/social media/hacking which were spammed by Russian hackers/bots. To what degree of influence this had on the election is up for debate but I think it's safe to say that it did have some effect.

Ok, perhaps they had an affect. In this day of the internet and social media, what do you wish to do about it?
If the effect was them hacking into the DNC and Hillary's email, it damn near looks like they hung it out there for the taking. What as a nation do you want done about it?
Do you really think, it would do anything of value for the President of the US to chastise Putin in public? I gather the dems thinks so, but it would embarrass the hell out of me.
There has to be a better plan than that, and when we find it, then we do it. Whining bitching in public seems weak, child like even.

Well, for one, our POTUS can grow set of balls and let Putin know that we know what's going on instead of fellating him on the world stage. And in case you forgot, they met behind closed doors and supposedly talked for hours. That was the perfect time for Trump to bust Putin's ass on the matter and let him know that if it continues there will be consequences.

Secondly, sanction the hell out Russia. Their economy is already in poor shape so it would very likely have the desired effect. It would also help to actually make NATO stronger instead of weaker.

Thirdly, this has nothing to do with Dems or Reps, it's about doing the right thing...and we/Trump have known about for nearly 2 years about what Russia has been doing to us and other countries around the world so there's been more than enough time to formulate "a plan" as you put it. Trump had/has a lot of smart people around him to advise him but he chooses to go rogue.
