Just a word from an ancient friend, although not so long have we be so. The right to bear arm and defend yourself with the force of arms. is a god given right, recognize in Natural law and thankfully codified in our Constitution by Madison. If you care to take the trouble to dig, I am sure you can find Madison's notes in his copy of the Law of Nations kept in the Smithsonian. I have witnessed it. Perhaps you need to also. This drivel about slaves is horse shit. Perhaps an interesting side point but hardly the salient.
