I'm sorry, but I'm not interested in going to resorts in Mexico that have cops with assault rifles posted up all over town. No thanks. I'll gladly spend the extra to go to Hawaii.

I disagree with your comparison of most small villages in Baja to being Disneyland’s. The towns that catered to tourists where Disneyland’s, most are large cities, with commercial airports to bring the tourists. I drove almost everywhere which got me away from the Disneyland’s.

Most small villages in Baja Sur do not cater to the tourist. Except for Cabo San Lucas, which is very touristy and not living a Mexican culture, I would call it Disneyland.

As far as Mexico City, if that is where you lived? Detroit, New Orleans and St. Louis all have higher murder rates than Mexico City.

Just because Detroit is a dangerous city, would you tell someone from another country to not visit the Grand Canyon or the beaches of Oregon? Or that the beaches of Oregon are not the true American experience?

Oh and BTW Trump is an idiotic asshole who makes grandiose statements that he will never be able to back up.
He can probably win the primary (shameful if he does IMHO). However a general election win is highly unlikely.
You don't kick out the Univision Anchor and have it sit well with Latinos in this country.

"Go back to Univision"

He might as well substituted that word with "Mexico".

Last time any of you got a new roof on the house did you bother to ask where the company gets their workers from or did you just go with the lowest bid? Be honest now.... You didn't even ask.

Banks don't want to illegal immigration to go away, when I was in the car business I could get illegals car loans all day long at 24-36%. Banks would offer better bonuses and incentives to write those loans then they would for citizens with good credit.

I know that, I was just in one of those moods last night.

I think we're both right, in that there are 2 very opposite groups of people living on government assistance.

And then there's the meth community preying on us all, and nearly 80% of all meth in the US now comes from Mexico.

If only there was some sort of law about entering the US illegally...

How about a 100 square miles of Mexican and US land designated as a business enterprise zone where factories would be built with complete infrastruture which offer no restictive taxes, lawyer bullshit eliminated, and employment for all US and Mexican citizens. Like Delaware, no State income tax or sales tax. The goal is to manufacture all goods typically made in China. The Truckers would benefit, and Mexican and US enterprises would exceed with low transportation costs and center distribution to the US and Central America. All we need are politicians who think outside the box and want co operation rather than alienation.
