I was listening to a couple people talk about this.
Vice Mayor of Charlotte although I thought he was correct about some things. I found him quite rude..
Vice Mayor of Charlotte went on to tell the conservative radio host to 'be quiet and let me finish'.
Not sure there is much difference between telling someone to 'be quiet'. And telling someone to 'shut up'.
Which is what was told to Simone Sanders by a GOP senator. She went off on CNN and the host told the senator that's not acceptable. Which it's not...
The discussion eventually broke down to grandstanding on both sides imo. & Neither side were being quiet when the other were talking.
Maybe I'm wrong, maybe there is a difference between telling someone to 'be quiet' and telling someone to 'shut up'.
Personally though. I find both equally disrespectful.
This is why it's difficult for me to listen to cnn or foxnews. as bs like this happens so often on both sides.
