...lol...@ edit, edit, edit .
... "Objectively" means being able to see things without the use of rose colored pinstriped glasses all the time...pretty simple actually. And sorry to break it to you, but I watch EVERY game, even when they're playing poorly.
...and gotta love the "now you see me, now you don't" routine...when the Yanx were losing you had lockjaw...hardly a post at all. Now that they've run off a small streak, you're back and predictably thumping your chest. If/when they start playing poorly again your chronic lockjaw will reappear.
...and fyi, I had the Yanx "buried" before the season started...at least I'm consistent.
Oh yeah, you're quite "consistent"..... consistently predictably negative- to the point where if anyone (a very short list amoung these Yankee fans) suggests other possible scenarios or outcomes, you simply dismiss it as coming from someone who is blinded by
rose colored pinstriped glasses and waving
pom poms.
Sorry but I'm not going to engage in the usual pity party circular firing squad everytime the Yanks lose a couple/few games in April and May, or
anytime there is still a
reasonable amount of games left for the team to make up ground, or doesn't require a spectacular "comeback" from deep in the standings...
...got all that?.....lmao

Nah, you're wrong.....you haven't any control over my personal affairs and I have NO PROBLEM whatsoever posting when the Yanks are LOSING.
"Now that they've run off a small streak, you're back and predictably thumping your chest".
I'm thumping my chest?
Why, because I mentioned how
sweeping any team four straight is hard to do?
Are you sniffing glue? I guess maybe that's the different between me and some Yankee fans who are just plain old miserable pessimistic people who are joyless and have established themselves as having a bias towards Yankee management and thus must always feel the need (in their minds) to try and show everyone how
resonable and
realistic they are regarding the long haul of a baseball season.
Got news for ya - you're not the only one who has a calendar, can count up to 162 and figure out how many games the other guys are ahead of the Yankees.
I'll bet you secretly grit your teeth and get annoyed when the Yanks are playing better than "expected"...lol.
Now where were we?.....oh yeah....how about
"blowing up the roster" in APRIL and early MAY because the Yanks were 7-8 games out of first place....OR, trade Gregorius and move Castro to SS after he was rightfully criticized for making a ton of errors with the Cubs...lol, oh yeah, that was real sound suggestion by one of our board stalwarts. How about
"trading Chapman" (in May)...? How about trading Beltran? Yippie!!!! Why not?
Let's chuck the whole team away before they at least have a chance to *play 40 games.....yippie!!!!!!
Yep, that makes sense, trade Chapman and break up the trio of relivers who last year were FIRST, SECOND and THIRD in strikeouts per 9 innings....particularly when your SP have been struggling to go 6 innings -
Oh yeah, that came from a "REALISTIC" Yankee fan sans
rose colored pinstriped glasses.....lmao. ......
By the way....just curious- which team did you pick to win the A.L. East before the season began?
I have to believe it was the basic ATBY- Any Team But Yankees.
Sure why not....as I said, it's easy to cover your ass by picking the rest of the field against one team.

The post still stands on it's merits.
