That would fantastic - but I personally do not think that Turk is a huge upgrade as the big FA/Trade target - especially not for so long.
If all we do is get an upgrade at PG defense and call it a day - I would be happy, if we can do more - I will be really excited. This team is a 15mpg more for Oden from being a real dark-horse contender as is.
If we can get El Capitan or Turk - I would go for El Capitan every day of the week and twice on Tuesdays.
No, we need two of them, one at PG and one at SF.

I want Turk. He has big time playoff experience, his scoring rose each round during this year's playoffs, he can distribute the ball, score in the clutch and play all 5 positions.

Bass is the one I want this summer, as a banging tough D backup PF
No he can't.
Which position can't he play? He's big enough to play in the frontcourt and a good enough shooter and passer to play in the backcourt.
The Magic tested Turkoglu's loyalty to the franchise when they offered him a four-year contract extension worth approximately $35 million just after the Finals.
This is what Orlando offered him. I don't remember seeing these numbers yet.

1 less buyer for hedo RT @sam_amick: cliff notes on what to expect from Kings in FA: not much. A big -maybe Diogu- and no big splash
I wouldn't give him anymore than that.
You've got to operate the team like any other business, IMO. Yes, by getting Hedo, at any cost, you strengthen the possibility of winning a championship, but you also worsen the team in the future. No no no!
Portland either signs him for $8M per for three seasons or they move on to the next free agent or trade opportunity.
Well if he didn't take 8.75 for 4 years, no way we get him for that.
Next.
