Isn't that what "defunding the police" is really about?...(reform/restructure police departments)

The Dems really need to rethink some of their terminology because it can give people the wrong impression. (doing away with the police)

I agree. They should come up with a better expression than defund the police, perhaps restructure the police.
 
"Defund the police" wasn't coined by democrats, but rather by protesters/activists.

Trump continued his purge of Pentagon leadership, replacing them with unqualified toadies. Most recently fired official with 20 years service who had coordinated anti ISIS campaign. His crime was providing national security briefings to incoming Biden team.

Many of the activists really do mean de-fund the police.

Most sensible people understand that is a terrible idea... and think to themselves 'What they REALLY mean is reform the police'.

The term 'Defund' was deliberately chosen as part of the platform

WASHINGTON — Christopher Krebs, who was recently fired by President Donald Trump as the head of the federal government's election cybersecurity efforts, suggested Tuesday that he might take legal action against one of Trump’s lawyers who said that Krebs should be shot.

In an interview on NBC’s “TODAY” show, host Savannah Guthrie asked Krebs how concerned he is about the comments made by Trump campaign lawyer Joe diGenova on Monday in which he said Krebs “is a class A moron. He should be drawn and quartered. Taken out at dawn and shot.”

“It's certainly more dangerous language, more dangerous behavior," Krebs responded. "And the way I look at it is that we are a nation of laws, and I plan to take advantage of those laws. I've got an exceptional team of lawyers that win in court, and I think they're probably going to be busy.”

Asked if there may be legal action taken as a result of those comments, Krebs said his team is looking at their “available opportunities.”

Every president since the 31st president (Herbert Hoover) have gotten a library in their name to hold their works, papers, records, and other historical documents/artifacts regarding their presidency.

18 presidents before Hoover have libraries for their work, but not necessarily in their name.

Trump will get a library and he will probably try to have the biggest one
