Yet, the democrats do nothing to reverse these tax cuts for the wealthy... thereby enabling their republican counterparts. :smiley-perilica_ver
uhh how do you expect them to reverse those tax cuts? You seem to be railing at them for something that’s literally impossible at the moment

Uhh, Ronald Reagan started these tax cuts. Democrats have already had more than plenty of time to do something about them.

We have had this discussion before - but it is just plain wrong. The max level tax cuts that were enacted by Reagan and Bush Sr. were taken down by Clinton and the max level tax has gone up from 33% to 39.5% - and the tax cuts by Bush Jr. were taken down by Obama and the max level tax has gone up from 35% to 39.5%.

Based on Biden's tax plan - it seems like he is going to turn the clock back on the Trump tax cuts as well (but only time will tell).

Your claim is just patently untrue. Just because subsequent republican presidents issues more tax cuts does not mean that democrat presidents did not raise the tax.

obama raised the taxes on the wealthy which is a rebuke of trickle down. Pretty sure he raised corporate taxes as well but not sure about that one

democrats have little blame for the tax code currently unless we are expecting democrats to win every election

“The Priorities Are Wrong”: Rep. Ro Khanna Says He Won’t Vote to Override Trump Veto on Defense Bill.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/republicans-sue-mike-pence-desperate-173200942.html

Several Republicans, including Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas), have resorted to suing Vice President Mike Pence as part of a "desperate" last-ditch effort to overturn the results of November's presidential election, The Hill reports. The goal of the lawsuit is to get a federal judge to rule that Pence has the exclusive authority to choose electors when he oversees the Electoral College vote certification on Jan. 6.

Despite President-elect Joe Biden's victory in battleground states like Arizona and Georgia, Republican electors held their own votes earlier this month in a move to disrupt the official process as Trump and his allies continue to make unfounded claims of widespread voter fraud. The lawsuit urges Pence to recognize the Republican electoral votes rather than the actual Democratic votes.

The chances of this lawsuit being successful appear to be negligible. University of California, Irvine, law professor Rick Hasen said flatly "this won't work," while Georgia State University law professor Anthony Michael Kreis called it "insane." And even if the the plaintiffs do win, Pence — who has not recognized Biden's win, but has generally been quiet about election conspiracy theories — would still have to actually go through with picking pro-Trump electors, a task likely easier said than done.

Gohmert suit may force Pence's hand in effort to overturn Trump's defeat (yahoo.com) This is absolute tyranny and treason to our People. If I was Pence I would be taking names and countersue them as treasonous filth. He and his wife could sleep at night assured that he abides by the United States Constitution and won't be considered fascist like the rest of the Trumpilicans. Legacy happens after you make a fatal mistake or a wise choice..

Joseph Stiglitz on the Pandemic Economy & Why He Backs Sanders’ Filibuster for $2000 Stimulus Checks.

Wouldn't one think if the proof of fraud was as obvious as the GOP/MAGA's say that it is, that it wouldn't as difficult to prove as it has been?

I mean, basically batting 0% in court, being denied *twice* by a conservative leaning SCOTUS? That seems to be evidence of someone writing on the wall, but they're just ignoring it.
