Do you know what Biden meant by diverse? I would say the Hispanic community is likely more diverse as it is comprised of many different cultures such as Brazil is different than Cubans, Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, Dominican Republicans etc. and vice versa but they are all Hispanic countries.

I'm gonna invite a friend in here to set some people straight on how diverse Black Culture is and how its racist to say the Hispanic Culture(comprising of many different countries) is diverse but the African Culture( Should be Black Culture, just like Hispanic Culture isn't Mexican Culture) is not. African/Black Culture comes from many different areas and is vast in its own right.

I would question anyone who isn't able to recognize this as being at least subconsciously racist. Would you not agree @dviss1 ?
 
Your feelings on Biden are irrelevant. We have to get rid of Trump.

Using African Culture and comparing it to Hispanic is not apples to apples. Comparing BLACK Culture to Hispanic Culture is comparing apples to apples. And BLACK Culture has many facets coming from all over. Just like Hispanic. Anyone who respects all humans should know this.

I really dunno how I feel about that. My kids and I definitely hug quite a bit. I give them all kisses on the cheeks at night, showing my kids I love them in every way I can think of is so important. I think there are definitely appropriate ways to show that and inappropriate ways. When it comes to other peoples kids though. For the most part I try to avoid any physical contact at all. I have a few friends with kids that Im close too that as long as the parents are around I’ll let sit on my lap, or whatever, but I think part of it is the day and age we live in. Years ago I think people were more ok with ‘touching’ a child without it being creepy... Cause in reality touching a kid or an adults shoulder does not mean someone’s got some weird fetish going on.

Not defending what he appears to do in some of those clips, certainly if some dude touched my kids like that there would be a discussion at the very least, but I think we can sometimes see what we want to see too.

You're looking a substance, some of which does leak through, instead of how quickly a candidate thinks on their feet particularly when it comes to history or in Trump's case, also geography.

that's the thing....I think being quick on your mental feet is NOT a worthwhile gauge for president at all because almost all the con-men and slimy tricksters I've met in my life have been quick on their mental feet. Some could tie you in knots they were so quick. If anything, I wouldn't trust it.

Con men are quick on their feet but not on facts. There's the difference. Con men have learned to studiously avoid facts and don't bother to even know them.

I see the difference between a con man and a regular person is that the con man has no ethics or morals where as a normal person wouldn't do what they do out of moral responsibility. I'm sure I could con many people if I really wanted to as it's not that hard or really take a lot of intelligence.

I'm not following you. Hispanic heritage is not a physical heritage , its a cultural heritage and it was being compared to African heritage (a physical heritage) instead of Black heritage(cultural heritage).

My God, Hispanics have a genetic heritage that is Indian and Spanish mix. Africans re referred to as Africans because their genetics show African features. There is the occasional White African but that is quite rare and when we say African we mean someone with African genetics in them.
Hispanics that are not of Indian, Spanish or mixed Indian-Spanish genetics are rare as hens' teeth although they do exist.
When we say Japanese we immediately think of Japanese genetics.
When we say Korean we immediately think of Korean genetics.
When we say Polish we immediately think of someone with slavic genetics.
There are a few countries where this may not be true but for Hispanics and Africans we do think of their genetics.

You didn't read the thread.

You cant consider Cubans and Mexicans, Hispanic heritage and not say Zimbabwe and Africa and Somalia and Nigeria are not Black heritage.

Asian Culture is vast too and is compromise of Koreans and Chinese and Japanese....

Not sure how you can equate the other races to be a culture but not allow Blacks to have the same and have to distinguish between Africans and Somalians.....

Joe Biden was wrong in Saying Africans. He should have Said the Black Culture. Not the African Culture. If you don't get that then that's on you.
