The quote was taken a little bit out of context here.

The "it" that Joe doesn't "have" was an intimate relationship with the electorate. And that was from 2019, and at the time Joe wasn't the candidate yet.

Well, as we all know, Joe's gotten so much better. I swear he's running on all seven cylinders now.

I don't personally think the Democratic party is excited about Joe. They are excited about who they can put around him maybe, but that said the article is really not all that good...

I don't think the D part would be truly excited about anyone they put in. Just as if you really ask R's, they aren't that excited about Donald. They're stick with their guy though.

How and you and your wife doing with the covid?
merge this dumb thread with the pirates for president thread..or the pedophile Joe thread....Posts aren't threads....I think obsessions el prez talked about in his safe space are exclusively Trump supporter obsessions...the forum members who never talk about anything but Trump or dems....never about basketball....now that's an unhealthy obsession ...the Blazers support BLM from ownership to front office to staff to players.....anyone who doesn't support that should immediately leave the forum for some place that is inclusive of their concerns....if you wouldn't say it to Damian Lillard....don't say it here..here you can take a knee when the anthem is playing and be respected

you realize that between el prez and myself there's only one vote...and that's my vote......he doesn't vote..just wants to watch the world burn...I respect his convictions...he knows he needs my life coaching course almost as badly as you do

For $24.99 I'll change your moniker to Guruman.

An Israeli doctor says: "In Israel, medicine is so advanced that we can cut off a man's testicles, put them on another man and in 6 weeks, he is looking for work". The German doctor says: "that's nothing, in Germany we take part of a brain, put it in another man, and in 4 weeks he is looking for work". The Russian doctor says: "gentlemen, we take half a heart from a man, put it in another's chest and in 2 weeks he is looking for work". The United States doctor laughs: "You all are behind us. Three years ago, we took a man with no brains, no heart and no balls and made him President. Now, the whole country is looking for work!"

Oh. I thought 'it' was covid. Or dementia.

Sanders and Trump aren't equivalent. Sanders, and I have criticism of him, genuinely put forward policies to help those left behind, at the bottom. We can argue practicality of Medicare for All or free college tuition or his jobs program but the aim is greater equality and access for those who lack.

Trump's policies? Aside from wishing away a pandemic and juvenile temper tantrums, actual policies are a giant tax cut for the rich, packing courts with hard right judges, eliminating pollution controls and other environmental regulation, and relentless attacks on immigrants, gays, women's rights while praising Confederate traitors. All about giving to the rich. His appeal is racism and "owning the libs' whatever the fuck that means. He made a few proclamations like "infrastructure week" that did nothing.

You could go on 'till the cows come home and none of it will sink in.

would ruin the logo....all the printed diplomas...my letterheads...webdesign.....and then all those thousands of graduates would lose their alma mater.....nah..we're good here at riverman university
Although I covet my diploma, when will it result in a job other than working on your farm for free so I can get experience bailing hay and shoveling shit?

Oh, I know. I also know he'll just respond with insipid points, and cute comments that he thinks gets his point across but really just make him look uninformed and naive.

Heh, whatevahs. Nah, going tit for tat with you is futile.

I can't tell if you purposely answered like that to prove my point, or because you're oblivious to the point I made in the post above yours. Because you absolutely did provide us with an example of exactly what i was talking about.

No one said they were equivalent but their 2016 campaigns had quite a few similarities, that's all.

'Pandemic is God testing me': Trump describes his conversations with the Lord before branding Biden a 'jerk' and Dems 'fascists' during Minnesota campaign stop - then says in Wisconsin that he wants a THIRD term and can only lose a 'rigged' election
  • Donald Trump holds mini-rally in Mankato, Minnesota, as part of lightning campaign swing designed to counter-program the Democratic National Convention
  • Uses speech to around 250 supporters to label Democrats 'fascists' and 'radicals' who want to 'erase our borders, eliminate our police, vilify our heroes' and 'take away our energy'
  • He mockingly described a conversation with God joking that the coronavirus was a punishment on him for taking credit for building the 'greatest economy'
  • 'I said: 'Did I do a great job God? I'm the only one that can do it.'' Trump then wagged his index finger, saying God told him: 'You shouldn't say that. Now we're going to have you do it again.''
  • Minnesota's Democratic governor Tim Walz said that the White House had wanted to hold speech where George Floyd died in Minneapolis
  • White House disputed his version of events, saying he would not have delivered a speech at memorial to dead black man whose death prompted protests and riots
  • In Oshkosh, Wisconsin, on final stop of the swing, Trump used 56-minute speech to mini-rally to say he should get a 'third term' because 'they spied on my campaign,' a reference to the Russia collusion allegations

Trump says tomorrow he'll pardon someone very, very important and not Flynn or Snowden....my guess....Bernie Madoff, Ghislaine Maxwell or Joe Exotic,,or maybe he'll go with Cosby or Harvey Weinstein

Very important? Is he gonna pardon himself? Can't think of anyone else Trump would consider to be very important other than himself.

Pardoning Maxwell might be part of a hush payment for survival in Trump's case..Cohen's book has leaked and it's full of dirt on Don

Before he leaves office he will pardon everyone around him including himself
