This is the one that makes me cringe. I have people i know that are completely convinced this is true. These are decent good people that have good intentions. They have jobs and children. I have known them for many years.

Call me what you'd like, but I'm not a racist. I do believe she aggrandizes herself, though. That's why I used the term, "imposter" in my initial comments on this subject:

"Harris is an imposter, disguised as a woman, disguised as a Black, disguised as someone who thinks she can handle the top job....which she can't."

Notice I also used the phrase, "Disguised as a woman.....".....which obviously she is. The intent/context of my post was that I really don't think she's qualified for the position (FOLKS, SHE MIGHT VERY WELL BECOME PRESIDENT DURING BIDEN'S TERM, should he become elected!), and was solely....SOLELY chosen for such (probably by Democratic leadership) because she's a woman...and Black. IMO, that was pretty much the bottom-line criteria when making that selection. (i.e. a woman of color.)

OK, I actually didn't think she was a "genuine" Black woman due to the fact that her parents are Indian and Jamaican. I felt that, even though she was chosen to be a VP candidate because she's Black, she really isn't truly African-American. Those were my understandings in that regard, but am posting this link which more or less refutes that line of thinking. I stand corrected on that.

Don't forget that they chose her because she was attorney general of the largest state in the United States. I think this may play some small part in the decision of Biden to select her. It would seem refreshing that she might actually know the law. What do you think?

I think there are a few things you need to take away from this.

1. Your phrasing is horrible. I think you meant that she is a phony, but instead of sticking with that (one could argue that point), you went with 'disguised as a woman/black' etc., which comes off as implying she is not a woman, or has not experienced what it's like to be black.

2. If you feel she isn't qualified for President (disregarding the fact she has far more experience to be President than Trump did), one needn't bring up her race or gender.

3. You are not the one who decides how a person of color gets to label their experience or what they consider themselves. This isn't a case of that nutter Rachel Dolezal who "claimed" she was black despite both of her parents being of German and Scandinavian descent. This is true, especially considering that A: Jamaicans are considered Americans B: A large portion of the country has it's ethos in Africa. and C: one who has parents from two different minority groups AND if people didn't know who her parents where would assume she was black.

There are three main takeaways from this experience.

1. You are incapable of evolving and understanding how your poor choice of words reflect incredibly poorly about your character.
2. You are doing it on purpose because you find it funny.
3. You are unaware that you are racist.

And please spare me your typical pedantic response.

I don't know about you, but if a large group of people who read my words thought "that guy's a racist" and in my mind I'm not one, the first thing I'd do is make a point of not talking that way anymore, and maybe listen to what they're saying about how I come off.

The way you respond to this (and pretty much every other post you make where you think you've done a good job of representing your point) totally backfires on you. Every. Single. Time.

I mean, it's actually both embarrassing and cringeworthy just how blissfully unaware you are about how you come off to people. Even people who *like* you and support you.

I am thinking this cannot be genuine. You simply cannot be this off base.
So that leads me to believe this is satire, parody or just really really bad trolling.

Your wife must love your views on women.

Harris was in fact a presidential candidate. And not SOLELY because she is a black woman. In fact, Kamala Harris has achieved more personal success than a single one of us in this forum ever will (no offense to us). She is QUALIFIED.

(Consider this: very few, if any, posters in this forum are repeatedly singled out as posting racist and sexist things...except you.)

Your not doing yourself a favor here. You werent doing yourself a favor when you kept responding yesterday re-upping with the same patois.

If multiple people are saying your post was racist, you have to look at that even if you don't see yourself as racist. You need to check yourself before you wreck yourself.

You said Harris is disguised as a woman. Harris is a woman. She has a vagina. You said she is disguised as a black. She is Jamaican. Jamaican's are mostly decended from Africans. You seem to have come to an understanding around that one.

It sounds like you are saying you said one thing, but meant another. If you want to say the Dems picked her because she is a woman and black. Ok. But, that is a far cry from what you said in your original post.

You need to work on your phraseology because the points you are saying you want to make aren't getting across. What did come across was a post that was racist and sexist. None of us who used the word racist threw it out there just to do so. Many of us saw your post for what it was and it had to be called out.

Maybe use this as an educational moment. It sounds like you are contrite, though you continue with some of the same language. Maybe look back over your posts and try to see it as others are seeing it. Maybe be more aware of the things you write before you hit post.

Do you even know what the term racist means? I think it's become just a buzzword to most. What I said wasn't racist. Just because you call me one, doesn't make it so. Period.
