Politics Turning GA, NC, NV, and/or PA into victory (Biden vs Trump, 2020 election!) (1 Viewer)

I'm a Bernie fan, but I don't think he would have fared better than Biden.

It is impossible to know.

But it’s hard to imagine he would’ve done as bad as Biden on the black and Latino vote.

I think Tulsi would’ve been a candidate that could’ve absolutely smoked Trump. She wouldve played well with moderates, conservatives who disliked Trump, and minorities.

Anyhow, doesn’t matter. Biden got the W and thats the most important thing.

But losing points in the Latino and Black community needs to be addressed moving forward.

Crazy election. IMO, it looks like it will end up in the best possible scenario for the country. Biden is likely to scrape through in most of the undecided states and have a pretty comfortable EC victory. Things may get tied up in legal challenges for awhile, but I doubt that will change the ultimate outcome. Meanwhile, the Republicans will hold on to their narrow lead in the Senate. That will save the Dems from themselves so that they don’t go too far to the left and go crazy with court packing. We get a four year window of some relative calm for the two parties to get a grip and then come with new candidates in 2024. This is a win for the country.

You had me until Tulsi. She's a closet MAGA, come on now.

Polls closed in Oregon 3 hours after polls closed in Pennsylvania. Oregon has counted 91% of their votes. Pennsylvania 74%.
Pennsylvania has 13 million people...Oregon has just over 4 million...different task

And oregon does universal mail in voting, while this is fairly new to have THIS MANY mail in votes in PA.

But this was the plan for the GOP. They didn't allow PA/MI/WI to count or prep mail in votes before polls closed, unlike other states. It was a deliberate attempt to make it seem like Trump won, while sowing doubt about the mail in

You okay with Mitch McConnell holding up all of Biden's judicial appointees until the R can get their guy in the Oval Office again? You know, like how he screwed over Obama's pick for the SC and other appointees for two years? Mitch McConnell will be saving the D from themselves LOL.
LOL how do people justify what McConnell has done when they shit on Biden for just talking about doing the same? In recent history, the only time anything has ever gotten done in this country is with Dems in control of the senate and presidency. GOP still maintaining a majority there just leads to more gridlock in DC. And I want this orange POS in shackles-- that ain't happening with Moscow Mitch still in control.

I doubt there’s going to be any Supreme Court appointments in the next four years. Other federal judge appointments haven’t been held up in the past and I doubt they will now. Even if there were, Mitch doesn’t have a strong enough majority to play partisan games. Romney won’t go along, nor will several other moderates. Harris will have the VP spot to break any ties.

I'm sure that affected it but my point was there is a big population discrepency between the states for counting votes....Oregons system works...no argument there

The good news for me is the states who haven't finished the Senate race are mostly blue states....and we're tied at 47 now....looks like Dems hold the house and take the Senate...that's really important if Trump wins for checks and balances

I sincerely hope you're right, but I think you're kidding yourself if you think McConnell and The R will play nice with Biden. When Obama swore into office, McConnell proudly stated that his mission was to tie up Obama and makes him a one-term President. He mostly succeeded.

The R already had a 5 to 3 majority in the SC. But of course, their greed won't allow them to play fair. If the D somehow can get the Senate majority in the next midterm, I'd be all for them expanding the court.

Well, like I said, the Rs retaining control of the Senate will protect the Dems from shooting themselves in the foot doing the things it sounds like you’re advocating. In my humble opinion, and no offense intended, of course.

Trump is not going to win. And R will retains majority control in the Senate.
I'm looking at the Senate map and it looks like the Dems have the edge....Joe needs Nevada, Wisconsin and Michigan to win right now...that's all he needs

Sorry, but that is just bullshit.

McConnell's handling of the stimulus and ultra partisan policy is perfectly fine with you, but when Dems get in control, they'll shoot themselves in the foot?

I go to bed at 4 am and I thought we were done!!!! This is great news, or should not get excited!!??
Cautiously optimistic. As long as Biden holds his lead in NV, the new flips of WI and MI will get him the presidency.

I'm just sour that almost 65 million people are perfectly fine with Trump and think he deserves 4 more years. As a second gen immigrant, I wonder if my neighbors harbor the same racial and xenophobic feeling about me and my fam. That is more worrisome to me.

The President has emboldened racism and bigotry. He has brought out their numbers and faces for all to see.
You never watched people acting like this four years ago. They are doing it because their leader is asking them to do it.
If, and i do say "IF", trump loses Tuesday where do you think most of these people will go? How do you think things will advance if trump wins Tuesday? It's time to take a stand. I'm a veteran. The Vets are speaking loud and clear. This man does not represent what we fought for. Mattis calls him the most "Flawed" individual he has ever met. Kelly says the same. The active military are voting for Biden. Even the VFW i go to is flying a Biden sign. nearly 20% of Post Office employees are Vets. He literally robbed Veterans assistance to fund a wall that he promised Mexico would pay for. $15 billion from Veteran's hospitals and mental health support to add 4 miles of wall and repair 200 miles of wall that is changing nothing.
These are just my issues as a Veteran. I'm not even bringing up all the other issues.
For people to drive around waving an American Flag claiming "Patriotism" while backing a candidate that is everything except a "Patriot" is a slap in the face to anyone who has ever served!
I am not the only one saying this. No it's not Apples and Oranges.

but dont people have control of thier own actions?
I refuse to buy into Trump made anyone do anything.
People act on thier own accord.
