Any suggestions? Want to get in store to avoid delay so I can watch Blazers Wednesday
Needs to be small, due to space issues.
Suggestions on brand/ store/features?

Small is like 22". It has to fit into a restricted space. I'lll try Frye's

TVs are so slim right now they can hang on the wall like a picture. 4K TVs have really come down in price. You should really think about getting something bigger. You'll really enjoy it.

That's pretty small. Like SPD said tv's are so thin light and cheap with wall mounts very reasonable. If possible i would go at least 32" and if possible to swing it a 42" can be a great viewing size. Samsung, LG as well as Vizio if you stick with their 2nd tier sets. TCL is also getting some strong reviews.

Also sign up for Fry's Deal of the Day email/code.

Here is part of their current Deal of the Day ad. Some pretty crazy deals for 4K TVs. Seriously, the 43" and 50" Samsungs are really nice TVs.

I got a little 19" at Fry's last year for the boat. It might be 22", $82 bucks I think. Has all the stuff to search for over the air channels and all.
Works good. Stuck it on a wall mount.

Choose 50"!

Dont splurge on a 4k tv if its gotta be under 22”. Go with a samsung 1080p also I find better luck at Costco than Fry’s for TV’s.
Be careful about buying a cheap TV, find out who the manufacturer of the actual display is (they are not all created equal). The good news is superbowl week is the best time of the year to buy a TV.
Brands Id recommend ~ Vizio for a ‘decent’ cheap option. Samsung or Philips for a mid-range and Sony or Samsung for higher end.

Yeah, definitely get a Samsung. Although I splurged and got a Sony last summer haha.

I got a Samsung on sale at Fry's. I wimped out and paid for them to install wall mount; I have the tools but have trouble sometimes finding studs. Not a problem if just hanging pictures but a problem if it's a TV, especially as my house sits on top of the Hayward Fault. They are installing as I speak.

And of course old TV started working again, but this is second time it's gone out for more than a day so I think it's dying.

Thanks for all the help. Come by and watch Blazers sometimes. I'll make the cookies.

If it isn't too late and the wall mount has fabric pull cords to release the tv.....I recommend taking a key ring and installing it on the end of the cords so they are easier to pull for future removals.

The cloth straps on my costco bought mount were almost impossible to grab when the tv was installed.

I got rid of the TV 10 years ago, to have time to read every smoking word on the S2 board. Anyone who owns a TV must not be a loyal S2er.

How do you view the internet? If you use a laptop you can also get a long HDMI cable and use your new TV as a monitor.

I use a desktop. Also phone.

If your desktop is near the TV and your computer's video has multiple outputs you can use the TV as a 2nd monitor.

Also if you have a Samsung phone you can display whatever is on your phone on the TV, kinda cool for looking at pictures you took on your phone.

Do you have Netflix? There are some shows that are going to look amazing on 4K.

SeskDes in next room. I have a brand x phone.

Honestly, not interested in Netflix et Al. I have certain programs I watch plus sports. I will explore what is available but don't want to spend retirement in front of TV. It's for entertainment and information, not my lifestyle.
