I like Lopez but i'm still to hesitant about his injury's to give up two first rounders for him. We would have him for a year and a half before having to invest 150+ Million in him. I'd give up a first rounder in a second for him but two is a little to much.

If they would be cool with Cleveland's pick as one of them, that doesn't cost us much.

Agree two first round picks are too much.

Also, which players do we include with the pick? We would need to send out salary to take on Lopez's $21+ million salary. Keep in mind Crabbe can not be traded to the Nets this year.

I am having a hard time finding a package that works well for both teams. We probably would need to send out 3 players to make Lopez’s salary work under our cap situation. I believe Fetus’s and Meyer’s salaries are just slightly short of working.

Ezeli and Davis work financially.

As well as Plumlee has been playing, would we bench him to start Lopez?

No thanks. The only way I want to trade both picks is to mover higher up in the draft, or nail a guy whi is proven, but still has years to go to gel with this team. Whiteside, Noel, these are the guys I would contemplate .
NOt an aging vet on a big contract that likely wont be here in 1-3 years. No rentals please.

Anyone got a resource that details exactly what picks we do and don't have for the next 5 or so years?

2020 second round draft pick to Cleveland
Portland's 2020 2nd round pick to Cleveland (via Orlando) protected for selections 31-55 (if this pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyed, then Portland's obligation to Cleveland will be extinguished) [Orlando-Portland, 7/14/2015; Cleveland-Orlando, 1/12/2016]

We have to get rid of Leonard and Turner\Crabbe for it to make any sens imo.

2 picks are too much.

It's funny: the Lopez twins basically show that EVERYTHING can be learned. RoLo's a great defender and very good rebounder, BroLo's a great scorer/shooter.

Just because they're twins, doesn't mean they're equally good at everything. BroLo has much more fluid movements, so he probably picked up the offensive side of things more easily.
