Yo!
October 19th…. 305 lbs
November 28….. 280 lbs
January 7th…….. 260 lbs

Doc says all the levels she red flagged, are trending down and she’s very happy with my progress. Took a whole bunch of blood and made me pee in a cup to do a whole thing of tests. So hopefully soon I’ll know what my AC-1 levels look like. Started at 9.5% and she wants me to get down to 6.5%. Researching about that now, not up to speed on this.
Once again, thanks for letting me share. Typing this out really helps me. Beside my wife and sister, not really sharing this journey with anybody.
You guys are like anonymous nerd shrinks. #BAM

Great job!

Keep telling myself I can keep this up. Don’t want to come back on here one day and share that I gained it all back.
I've been there. Was down to 265 about 5 or 6 years ago. Started getting more active and screwed up my knee a few times... The last time I just wasn't able to get back on track and gained it all back.

I'm going to have to do it nearly all in the kitchen. Which is tough because we're cooking so much high protein and high carb food for the girls.

I really need to focus on getting veggies first. Like 2 servings before every meal.

Thanks for sharing. You're getting me motivated to get going on it as well.

You're doing awesome! Keep it up!

ATTA BOY!!!

Great job, starting the journey is the hardest part.

I am starting my own journey. Started running again about a month ago, cut back to one Pepsi with real sugar a day. I stopped drinking alcohol years ago so that is not a issue. I drink lots of water and strawberry lemonade. My biggest issue is my sweet tooth. Was doing good until the holiday. Need to get the sweets out of the house so I am not tempted. My goal is 25 more pounds and by the end of summer breaking 2 hours in a half marathon.

Thanks for the kind words. Craziest thing FAMS….. clothes I’ve wanted to wear for like 15-20 years sitting in my closet are fitting perfectly. Coats or shirts that I could never zip up, totally can now. It’s kinda cool!

That’s what I’m talking about FAMS!

Speaking of sugar. Was reading today that 25-35g a day is acceptable. Obviously everybody is different.
I was looking back on what I was consuming and it looked like about 300g!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!! What was I thinking?
