Name ONE, JUST ONE, questionable-character guy that won a championship.
Stephon Marbury just won a Chinese Basketball Association championship.

But you said you were taking the word of a few posters in this thread about Evans being a head case. I think it's obvious that both Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant have been in more "head case" public situations than Tyreke Evans, isn't it? They were much more talented than Evans, and two of the greatest players in NBA history, so does that excuse them from being head cases?
By your criteria, nobody who has won a title can be considered a head case. Read your own definition of it. It makes no sense to me. I'm not trolling you, I'm questioning you. If you can't handle it, that's not my fault.
You asked for 1 guy who was a nutcase and won a ring..... I gave you 3 son.
I'm sure they don't regret letting him go.
Your assessment of Jordan is weak, to say the least. OH, he has gambling problems? God damn, strap on the white vest to a guy who now entirely owns his own NBA team.
Kobe....rape allegations that never happened. Infidelity maybe...but who are you to judge? Just some bitch trying to get money out of him. And I'm not defending Kobe, I hate the guy.
And his feud with Shaq? OK, that's the extent of Kobe's drama in his career. A false accusation that got a lot of attention and a war of words with another player.

The answer to the Jeopardy question "What naive nonsense could one post on a sports message forum to instantly destroy one's credibility?".
Vernon Maxwell played a key role on the 93-94 Rockets. He went 14/4/4 in the playoffs for them that year.
He was known as "Mad Max" because he was a head case. He was jailed in 2009 because he kept messing up his probation.
Tyreke Evans stats have gone downhill since he entered the league because they had him playing PG and not caring what he did as long as he averaged that historic 20/5/5. There were a ton of questions about just what position he should actually play in the NBA and it looks like he is falling into the SG/SF role. He isn't an overally gifted athlete, plays below the rim instead of above it, not a good 3 point shooter and tends to dominate the ball. He is his best when he can slash to the rim at will and draw foul calls. He is a player who is going to demand big money but never be worth it because of his lack of consistency and his horrible defense/shot selection.
How is he a head case? He plays on a team that lets a 4'11" shooting guard dominate the ball.

Both Rodman and Sheed intentionally acted the way they did. And both were big men.
Head case guards are completely worthless.
I would have no problem adding Evans if it cost us something like Matthews, but I wouldn't trade a pick for him
Matthews alone wouldn't get it done, but maybe they can buy a pick in the late teens or early twenties and package that with Wesley and include it in a trade?

I most definitely would. Evans is exactly the kind of SG slasher, scorer we need to fill the absence of B-Roy.
