Mark Hamill sent 500 drones to Ukraine in past month

Veteran actor Mark Hamill said in an interview that he has sent at least 500 drones to Ukraine through the country’s fundraising platform, as Ukraine’s ongoing conflict with Russia enters its ninth month.

During an appearance on Bloomberg Radio’s “Sound On”, Hamill, widely known for his role as Luke Skywalker in the acclaimed “Star Wars” film franchise, told host Joe Mathieu that he only sent the equipment to Ukraine because they desperately need it.

Volodymyr Zelensky announced last month that the 71-year-old actor had been named an ambassador for the country’s fundraising platform UNITED24’s “Army of Drones“ project.

United24 is an initiative that provides for the regular procurement of drones, their repair and prompt replacement, as well as pilot training for military forces.

Day 241
Russian forces conducted a massive missile attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, continued ground attacks in Donetsk Oblast and routine fire west of Hulyaipole and in Mykolaiv Oblast. Russian withdrawal from western Kherson Oblast has begun.
Russian occupation administration claims it leaves Kherson city, says all Khersoners “must immediately leave” too. Russian forces will "likely attempt to blow up the dam" at the Kakhovka power plant to cover their retreat from Kherson City.
The Netherlands supported the creation of a special tribunal to investigate Russian crimes committed in Ukraine.

Day 242

Day 243
Russian Defense Minister called his four NATO counterparts putting forward allegations that Ukraine is going to use a "dirty bomb" in a false flag attack, Ukraine president says Russia might be planning such an attack. Russian troops continued ground attacks on Bakhmut and Avdiivka in Donetsk Oblast. Ukraine arrest engine factory director who supplied helicopter engines to Russia. Ukrainian efforts to defeat the Shahed-136 UAVs are "increasingly successful."

Day 244
Kremlin intensified its information operation to accuse Ukraine of preparing to conduct a false-flag attack using a dirty bomb for the second day in a row. There are no indications Russia has decided to employ a nuclear weapon. Russia is still failing to maintain adequate air superiority. Blowing up the Kakhovka dam would only slow the Ukrainian advance by two weeks in the south. It would, however, flood territory occupied by Moscow and lose a vital water canal for annexed Crimea. The evidence for Russian genocide intent is very clear by historical standards. US considers HAWK air defense equipment for Ukraine.

Give Ukraine the HAWK air defense equipment.
I was pleased to hear President Biden warn Russia on the use of anything nuclear. Bullies must be met with force.

Day 245 of Putin's three day special operation

Ukraine says heavy battles are ahead in Kherson Oblast as Russians likely prepare the defense of Kherson City and continue to establish fallback and defensive positions on the eastern bank of the Dnipro River. Russia continues unsuccessful ground attacks in Donetsk Oblast. Ukraine liberates four villages in Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts, the liberation of Kharkiv village has been confirmed. I saw a "Frontline" documentary on Russian atrocities in Ukraine last night. Fucking Russians aren't human. I couldn't sleep last night thinking about unreal atrocities.
Give the Ukrainians every damn weapon system they want and then some. Fucking Russians must be taught a lesson on civility.

Not mentioned here, but russia adding a really lot of seasoned troops to the Kherson region and they are west of the Dnipro River, so do not seem to be worried about being trapped in a caldron there. Also seems to indicate that despite Ukraine destroying all the bridges, russia still getting plenty of men and supplies across. Whoever wins this massive battle coming up will probably win the war.
Day 246.
Ukraine’s advance in the south slows down due to rains but still goes on. Russia likely sticks to its maximalist objectives in Ukraine and remains resistant to negotiations. Russia rehearses response to a nuclear attack as tensions rise over 'dirty bomb' allegation with its propaganda claiming that Ukraine prepares to bring down a "radioactive missile" over Chornobyl. Ukraine says Russia is committing “energy genocide” by bombing nearly half of Ukraine’s power infrastructure. Poland's Senate recognizes the Russian government as a terrorist regime. Ukraine has received 2 NASAMS air defense systems.

1f538.png
Medvedev proposes to fulfill Russia's "demands" so Ukrainians can have electricity, admitting to Russian state terrorism.

1f538.png
Amid the full-scale invasion, more Ukrainians believe that events are developing in the right direction has significantly increased compared to "pre-war" indicators.

Overnight Ukraine attacked russian fleet in Sevastopol Bay. russian were ready, must have detected with radar. I believe it was a multiweapon attack. possibley kamikaze drones through the air, Bayraktar drones firing rockets and something new: drones skimming along the surface of the sea. This vidoe is from one of those. It gets wild after first 30 seconds. Ukrainians believe they damaged two large ships, one a frigate that fired missiles at Ukraine and the second a mine-sweeper.

I believe the number of russian troops killed yesterday is most since Battle for Kyiv.

Italy to supply MLRS and howitzers to Ukraine.

Actually i would say the biggest news is that Ukraine has killed alomst 1600 russian soldiers over the last two days. Either the chaos and disorganization involved in mobilzation is responsible or else Ukraine has learned how to target troops better, using "soft target" artillery shells.

Send Ukraine some F35As.

Also of note: 650 orcs eliminated yesterday. That's 2200 in 3 days. Once news gets back to russian people, this will not go over well, I think.

Day 251. Russian forces launched another massive wave of strikes against critical Ukrainian infrastructure, further damaging the power grid and leaving much of Kyiv without water. Overall, 60 missiles and 15 air strikes launched; more than 45 MLRS attacks carried out. More than 50 settlements hit. Ukrainian air defenses shot down 44 cruise missiles. Russian troops carry out the forced displacement of the civilian population, particularly in the Kherson Oblast, claiming the risk of Ukrainian forces destroying the Kakhovka dam and ordering “evacuations” of areas that could be flooded. That unjust war is considered highly reprehensible by a large minority of Russians who also consider it unjust.

Hopefully all the corpses coming back to russia right now will help more russian people see that this war is just a really bad idea.

Russia isn't even paying for the funerals of their dead soldiers.

russians are abandoning the major port city of Kherson (in the south on the Black Sea) which they have held almost since the start of the war. Major psychological defeat but I fear that now they will bombard the city to oblivion from the positions on the other side of the Dnipro River. But since Ukraine will be able to now move their artillery closer to the river, hopefully they can eventually destroy those russian positions. Ukrainians killed over 700 russians again yesterday; this is the biggest news every day that isn't being reported.
