Let’s send more of our kids to die in a politician’s war while our own country crumbles around us. We can’t even take care of our own people and we’re gonna go save Ukraine? Just like Iraq and Afghanistan right? Let’s get some more vets on the street I don’t think there’s enough. There is zero threat to our country right now and zero reason for anyone here to be over there.

So very young obviously.
You simply cannot go stand on your soapbox and complain about things that you stand against working to take care of then go storm the capitol building and wave a Trump Flag because you didn't get your way.
Then when all is said and done get arrested because what you did was against the law, then try to hide behind the constitution and freedoms the last 5 generations have fought and died to provide you. Heck i bet you would even want special treatment like different meals while in jail.

Your posts are the very definition of an ingrate. I'll even bet you will have to google the actual definition of NATO let alone understand what that alliance has brought to the world. If you actually think this is "Zero" threat to our country you simply are not paying attention and have your head in the sand.

My original statement stands- If this war reaches our borders we will have already lost. Try to keep up. If that happens it will mean WW3 and China has jumped in. If China jumps in you can bet your life Pakistan and India will be on their side. Now go google how many people that is. I'll save you the work. it's close to 3 billion people. You don't have enough guns and ammo stockpiled to win that war. A button will get pushed.

The only way to win is to lose. I personally don't want to live to see that day.

Another "Blind Squirrel" found a nut.
At the time he was shutting down alternative green energy because he wanted to drill here. His statements were not about Russia invading Ukraine. They were simply because he wanted votes and the power from the oil companies. Trying to make this sound like he was warning of impending doom is sadly irresponsible.
At the same time he was helping Russia prepare for this invasion.

Quite a rant. Lots of boogeymen. I like how you randomly brought up January 6th like i somehow had something to do with it or it was relative to the conversation in any way. Unfortunately you haven’t swayed me into the “let’s go to war” camp, nor will you.
Wasn't Trump the one supposed to get us in to a war? Wasn’t he the one the his “finger on the button”?

That’s where you seem to have lost it.
Trump did set the stage for this war. It only by the grace of god he wasn’t re-elected so he could continue to destroy democracy and NATO.
Unfortunately now we have to clean up the mess he made.

He’s had his fingers all over that country for years. You can pretend him being President and a conflict involving that country are coincidental if you want, I’ll continue to think there is shady shit going on, like there always is.

Putler is violating his agreements on humanitarian corridors because he actually wants to kill more civilians. I believe he knows now he cannot win the war militarily and so he wants to kill enough civilians so that the humanitarian leaders of Ukraine will capitulate. I don't think that will happen.

Interest in covering up shady deals, interests in American tax money being sent there and disappearing into foreign accounts, gas interests.
Just pretend Trump’s kid was over there doing the same shit and it may spark your imagination.

Here is an answer i gave to a guy who asked why i was optimistic: All I can say is that all 190,000 Russian troops that were on the border have entered Ukraine. Ukraine has more armed troops than that plus 100,000 armed territorial defenders. They are fighting on home ground and able to initiate ambushes every day. The hand held weapons like Javelins and NLAWs, which they have plenty of, are very beneficial in a war like this. They are killing Russian troops and equipment at twice the rate of their own casualties.
Not even to mention the low morale of Russian troops. They now know that they are likely to get their asses kicked in any on ground engagement with Ukrainians and that the Ukrainian people all hate them.
