Zelenskyy Office believes that Russia to get down to negotiations after the liberation of Donetsk or Luhansk.

Russian offensive operations in Donetsk Oblast will intensify in the coming weeks as additional mobilized servicemen arrive along with forces withdrawn from western Kherson.

I saw President Zelensky visited Kherson, even though city is without water or power. Putin holed up in bunker.

Also Russia had put up billboards reading Russian Forever. Oops
and then Russia got mad Zelensky went to “Russian territory”.

So stupid you can’t make it up
This surprised me a little bit. russia has a large amount of artillery just across the river from Kherson city. I have a theory that a deal was made with military only; that Ukraine would allow russia to exit Kherson fairly peaceably if russia promised not to shell Kherson. Completly unsupported by evidence except that so far russia has not shelled Kherson.
I’d believe it……..if Ruzzia ever kept their word on ceasefires.

It was just a matter of time.
How does the world put up with Putin, when there is a cancer cut it out!
Polish jets already in the air. I think they will be prudent though. I wouldn't mind if they attacked one of the sites that these missiles are coming from.

Bin Laden was not a head of state. Qaddafi was taken out internally. Hussein was weakened, the US was literally at war and Iraq had no nuclear weapons.

I believe Biden just said it’s unlikely that the missiles came from Russia. Belarus is about to go through some things.

I'm a little bit angry that Poland was calling for an emergency NATO meeting when I believe they already had satellite tracking info from USA that showed missile came from Ukraine and was most likely an anti aircraft missile that went astray. Just a bad optic. Although most of Europe being pretty good about this. announcing that it would not have happened if russia was not attacking Ukraine with 90 some missiles in a day.

Day 267
About 40% of country without electricity.
Ukrainian troops repelled attacks in the Donetsk oblast. Russia launched 4 air strikes and 6 missile strikes, carried out more than 40 MLRS attacks from rocket salvo systems. The civil infrastructure of the city of Zaporizhzhia hit by a missile. In the liberated Kherson Oblast, Zelenivka, Chornobayivka, and Kherson hit by artillery fire. Ukrainian sources continued to clarify the damage caused by the massive November 15 Russian missile strike across Ukraine. Ukrainian forces continued counteroffensive operations in the directions of Svatove and Kreminna. Russian forces continued ground attacks near Bakhmut and Avdiivka, and in western Donetsk Oblast. Ukrainian forces continued targeting Russian forces and logistics nodes in southern Ukraine

Day 268
Russian forces conducted another massive wave of missile strikes across Ukraine. Russian forces in eastern Kherson Oblast are likely partially vulnerable to a Ukrainian interdiction campaign such as the one Ukrainian forces successfully exploited to retake western Kherson Oblast. Ukrainian troops are conducting counteroffensive operations along the Svatove-Kreminna line. Russian forces continued ground attacks around Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and southwest of Donetsk City. Ukrainian troops continued targeting Russian military assets and concentration areas on the east bank of Kherson Oblast and in the rear areas of Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Belarus makes arrangements with Iran concerning the production of artillery shells, 2 Ukrainian nuclear power plants affected by Russian missile attacks. Russians place mines at the solar power plant in Kherson Oblast before retreating. Ukraine rights chief releases video of ‘torture chamber’ in liberated Kherson. Bodies of 991 civilians were discovered in territories liberated from Russian forces. Russian sources and proxy officials are flagrantly touting the forced adoption of Ukrainian children into Russian families. Dutch Court: “Girkin Found Guilty of Murder 298 Times.” Finland Announces Largest Military Package for Ukraine. Norway contributes $30m to Nato’s assistance package for Ukraine. New Zealand Increases Military Aid to Ukraine. Czechia to train up to 4,000 Ukrainian troops. Spain offers to train 2,400 Ukrainian military personnel annually. Additional Canadian military aid to Ukraine announced.

I accidentally looked at first page in this thread and saw something to the effect that Biden was "mulling" whether to send USA troops to Ukraine. I don't believe he ever thought about that for a second. BTW just saw a column by a conservative who said Biden has done just about perfect on balancing things amid his support of Ukraine
Second day in a row that russian casualties substantially down, not sure if they are getting more caustious or if soldiers refusing to go to slaughter.
Day 269 The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) does not recognize the illegal Russian seizure of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP). Russian forces continued limited ground assaults in Donetsk Oblast. 30% of Ukraine’s territory is mined.

Day 270. Fierce fighting in Donbas. The Ukrainian flag raised above 12 settlements in the Luhansk Oblast. Ukraine and its allies work to develop a Joint Declaration on Air Shield.

Day 272. NATO Parliamentary Assembly unanimously recognizes Russia as a terrorist state. Russians using Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant as a military base. Thousands have gone through Russian torture chambers in the Kherson Oblast.

Day 273. The Russian Federation is actively transferring equipment to the Zaporizhzhia direction. Russia has damaged almost all thermal power plants and large hydroelectric power plants in Ukraine. Russian missile attack on a maternity ward kills a newborn baby in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

I think I understand what you mean This war is the main event of our lifetimes so far. A classic battle between democratic values and autocratic values. Between the rule of law and the rule of one mad man. Between good and evil. A battle to defend all of Europe from an aggressive imperialist. (Just saw Buffy St. Marie talking about the Discovery Doctrine, which was the policy of the Catholic church for a long time. Indigenous people must agree to be enslaved as Catholics or they would be killed. Isn't that what russia's message to Ukrainians is now? Agree to be an enslaved russian or else we torture and kill you.)
And yet the socalled free world mostly just stands by and observes, letting Ukraine do all the heavy lifting, all the killing and dying. And the media reflects the lack of interest by most people.

Military experts said that Russian President Vladimir Putin was trying to compensate for territorial losses, and to create a sense of war fatigue among Ukraine’s European NATO allies in hopes that they will eventually pressure Kyiv to make concessions and slow arms shipments that enabled Ukraine’s victories.
“This is all about the weaponization of refugees,” retired U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges, a former commander of U.S. Army Europe, said in a phone interview.

“By making Ukraine uninhabitable in the winter time, they are potentially sending millions more Ukrainians to Europe,” Hodges said. “That would put pressure on European governments. The hope is that Europe, in turn, would pressure Kyiv.”
“The Russians are losing everywhere,” Hodges said, adding that “their only tactic” is to target nonmilitary civilian infrastructure “to drag things out” and hopefully obtain a solution “more favorable to the Kremlin.”

There is tons of information available regarding Ukraine on a bunch of different platforms. I'd suggest watching youtube summaries. There are heaps of options.
