Do they give their president absolute immunity?
No "absolute" immunity has been granted. The Supreme Court ruling was crystal clear about that, but all you do is read the reactionary hyperbole of the trash media you consume.

Also, no president has ever been charged with a crime in the history of the US. Do you believe none of them ever committed any crimes? Bush had people tortured, Obama murdered a US citizen with a drone strike, but they were both granted immunity. So this isn't new. And you want Trump to go to jail for these non-crimes. TDS.

To add balance to my reports, not everything is going in Ukraines favor. Ukraine is having problems controlling their airspace.

From Russian drone videos and satellite photos. It is clear at least two Ukraine airfields have recently been hit by Russian missiles.

I believe one of the airfields has been hit at least 3 different times. The first time, there were many military aircraft there. Ukraine lost 1 SU27 fighter jet. Later attacks appear to have hit an empty airfield with no damage.

Another airfield was hit. Ukraine lost a combat helicopter. A structure was also hit, but it is unclear what was inside.

Two points. Russia is preparing for the arrival of the F16s. And Ukraine still does not have enough air defense systems to protect their high value targets.

Russia is fighting a war of attrition. They outnumber and outgun the Ukrainians, and the Ukrainians are losing people at a higher ratio. It's only a matter of time.

Russia would need 20 soldiers per 1 Ukraine civilian to win the war and hold Ukraine.

Russia doesn't have that.

Russia's population is 3.8x that of Ukraine. Lets round up to 4 times larger to keep this simple.

In a war of attrition. To stay even. For every Ukraine casualty, Russia would need to take 4 casualties. Is this happening?

No, according to many experts, Russia is suffering 6 casualties for every Ukraine casualty

Russia is losing the war of attrition. Which explains why Russia is hiring so many foreign fighters, from so many countries. While Ukraine is beating Russia with only their own army, and a handful of foreign volunteers

Not 20 soldiers to 1 civilian. Which is what it takes to conquer and hold an aggressive population.

Generally when military analysts compare the capacity of nations, they cross compare the number of soldiers or military aged men between nations. Not the population as a whole vs the other's standing army. I guess this the new "Phatguysrule" method though. So 1 soldier and 100 babies > 5 soldiers because they outnumber them 20 to 1.

Both sides are giving different ratios. But Ukraine is the one sending old men and women into combat. Ukraine is the one that is failing to make any dent in the line Russia has made. Ukraine is the one desparately pleading for more and more assistance...

We'll see in time. But don't you recall how the western media was saying Ukraine was kicking Russia's ass etc. They were even publishing known BS about the "ghost of kyiv". Zelensky is the one making desperate pleas.

Prolonging the war is just creating more senseless bloodshed.

If Russia invaded the US we wouldn't have to be "sending old men and women into combat" they would proudly and immediately start fighting on their own. I'd guess that there are lots of Ukrainians that feel the same.

Also Russia has been pleading for more and more assistance from China, North Korea, and Iran.

Maybe you haven't seen the videos of Ukranians being kidnapped in the street and force to go to the frontlines where they have a life expectancy of 4 hours.

Female saboteurs who poisoned 46 Russian soldiers in Crimea are on the run after shoot-out with police, reports say

And that's just one story... When you are trying to occupy a defiant country you aren't just fighting soldiers or military aged men. You are fighting everyone in that country.

Overall population size would be more relevant if they were trying to occupy the whole country, but they're only occupying the region which was involved in a civil war against Ukraine anyway.

Biden administration picked this fight with Russia.

Partly due to his base doing the Russia, Russia, Russia thing. How do you expect Russia to look at this?

Partly due to talking NATO membership for Ukraine. How do you expect Russia to like NATO and missiles on its border?

Partly due to saying things like. "I'll stand toe to toe with Putin" - them's fighting words.

Partly due to saying things like, "There will be no US troops/boots on the ground." Precedent is "nothing is off the table" and troops on the ground in West Berlin and West Germany to deter aggression.

It's not our blood being spilled. It's the good people of Ukraine and Russia who are dying and being wounded.

Why on earth would anyone support picking a fight with a nuclear power?

Diplomacy means talking to your enemies to make peace. It doesn't mean making war or using proxies to make war around the world.

Obama and Biden administrations have left cities and countries in rubble. It's something that cannot be justified.

I'm voting for RFK Jr. this time around. I don't think he's interested in making war.

The only country who picked a fight with Ukraine were the people who invaded Ukraine.

Simple as that.

Ukraine has every right to defend themselves from invasion and the right thing to do is to support them in their self defense.

Saying stuff doesn't give anybody the right to harm others.

Captain, our sensors are picking up signs of intelligent life in the S2 OT forum...

Biden made Putin invade Ukraine?
Yeah, I can see why Denny is voting for Kennedy Jr.

The president's words and actions and the USA's and allies' actions matter.

No matter how you want to spin it, war is a failure of diplomacy.

It’s as consequential as a basketball game to most people here. They just want to be analysts and cheer on a side. They know they personally wont be inconvenienced so who gives a shit if a million people die over there. It’s all points and scores; and when the media scraps the narrative, so will they.

Sorry, but only in a fantasy world is "diplomacy" and "Putin" NOT an oxymoron. Diplomacy for Putin is "Bend over and take it because it's coming anyway". Any defense of Putin and his actions is utterly unconscionable. But Biden a bad, bad man. Only in the fucking MAGA universe.......
