Hey ehizzy3, what happened to the insulting post that came in my email but doesn't seem to be here anymore? Did you realize you were proving my point about right wingers resorting to insults when the facts are on the table? I can prove my own point without your help, thank you though.

No, they didn't. In fact, no one has EVER been beaten up by a 'dude just like me' because I would never use violence. Nice stereotype you got there. I don't even know what you're talking about. Provide a link, or did you just make it up.

That video has nothing to do with 99% of the people in the background. I suppose he thinks that means all marines are bad because of Oswald and all Presidents are bad because of Bush. And what does race have to do with this? We also have no information about the situation. Why does the video start there? Where is the beginning? What kind of provocations were being hurled around? That one guy in the leather jacket looked absolutely thrilled to be punched, like Code Pink being arrested. I suspect he was looking for trouble from the beginning. See, we can all speculate about motives.
 
I'm good with unions. It's a Natural Right that we have the right to freely associate with those we choose. There's no law that should be lawful to prohibit people from banding together and bargaining collectively. It is what Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale did one year with the dodgers ("we're a package deal"). I'm perfectly fine with getting together to protest, to go on strike, and so on.

Where I draw the line is when a union would force me to associate with it, where the workplace is a democracy and 50%+1 votes forces the remainder to join the union, the taking of dues from people who don't want to be part of the union, and that sort of thing.

Union goons like that guy who beat up the "right-winger" are a major part of America's collapsed manufacturing segment, and how unions are viewed by the public.

The company closed as a legal mechanism to bust the Union so they could sell the brands for more. The Union did not cause the closure. Keep watching Fox News.
