haha does it really? I saw the picture and thought it was funny, but I'm not familiar with the concept. Is it like Franzia...like, bag of milk in a box?

They actually don't have that in the US?

I don't think they have that...anywhere. If I ever visit Canada, I'm buying myself a bag of milk as a souvenir.

I know Chutney, I thought they had it all over. You learn something new everyday.

I'm not gonna lie. Milk in bags was a friggin' hassle. Our family started buying from cartons a few years ago.

Milk bags are just in Canada? Stunning. Learn something new every day.

My mom tells me that they used to sell milk in bags in the Soviet Union. She's not sure if they do it now. Haha, weird.

The best thing about milk bags is they come in three-packs, 1L each, so if you have a crowded or dirty fridge, your milk doesn't taste musty or stale, because you're only using a liter at a time. Plus you can throw one in the freezer if you don't drink 3L in two weeks, then thaw it when you want it later. The downside to milk bags is that they don't taste as nice, IMHO. They seem to be more watery and they never taste as fresh as jug or carton milk. Easily the most I've ever written or talked about milk right here in this post.

Bags are cheaper too, if I remember correctly, right?

That's fucking disgusting, honestly.

It's not only in Canada, they have it in other countries.

milk can be bought in bags in Israel too. I personally prefer cartons.

I just bought some skim milk today... a carton was just shy of $5 but three bags are a dollar or so less, so yeah, I think bags are cheaper.

America is too good to put our milk in bags.
WTF is wrong with you idiots above us?

You can get chocolate milk in bags, too. And--hold onto your yarn, grandma--I've also seen peach juice in bags.

This is too weird.

I buy my milk in the plastic half-gallon and gallon jugs.

I used to have chocolate milk in mini-bags on pizza days back in elementary school.

The only drink we get in bags here in the USA are wine, and Capri-Sun. Everything else seems too weird.
