Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

Do you go to local music concerts? If so, what kind?

  • Never, I hate music. I'm here for sports, moron!

  • Rarely to once in a while, if it's something special

  • Sometimes, when I know the band that is playing

  • Sometimes, even when I don't know who is playing

  • I'm out most weekends at one show or another

  • I only go to see national acts touring through town

  • I only go to see local bands starting out

  • I go out based on the genre of music (i.e. Blues,Jazz, Country Clubs)

  • I only go to metal shows

  • I go to all genres as long as it's good music

Went to see these ladies the other night. They're AMAZING.

Don't know any of your hipster bands, but I went to see Radiohead as they came to perform in Israel awhile ago. I think the Dandy Warhols are from Portland? I used to listen to them some

Went to Desert Trip in 2016 and Bruno Mars this past summer. Those were unbelievable shows.

I now have tix to see 3 concerts, Jesse Colin Young, Bruce Coburn, Ian Anderson.

This Saturday night we are the 2nd of four bands playing.

I have not made a poster and am not sure if I will have time, but I am begging anyone and everyone to come down and support.

We are turning this into a short notice Benefit show for all proceeds to go to the family of a good friend of mine who was shot and killed last night in SE Portland in his car.

The show is $5 at the door and any support provided will be greatly appreciated.

SWIL will also be playing with Jackfoolery and Piranhapuss in April Flyer to follow.

Starting to line up some good shows with some really good local bands.

Come support some local music. Be prepared to party and get your drink on as SWIL doesn't mess around. ;)

Also made some website updates....

www.swilnation.com

Update for this show.

There will be a raffle drawing ( $5 a ticket or 5 for $20) There will be two prizes, the first being a custom made GoodEarth Guitar signed by the bands and the maker
and the second prize is a pair of Blazer Tickets to their home Game on Saturday March 17th.

This is going to be a great show regardless ,but this has now made it over the top. Its a small place so we are expecting packed house. IF interested, be sure to get there early to find a table.

Anybody know of any good local rock bands. And by rock I mean like this type of shit....

A good bar band with good songs?

We go on at nine and will be playing for about 45 minute. Its a smaller place so it fills up quick, fyi.

I'm going to be at O'malleys tonight for Jason's band hope to see some of you there. I expect to listen to some good music and yell at the Blazers on the tv while enjoying some drinks and food.

Update on the raffle. No raffle unfortunately. The olcc said we had to have a legit non profit organization to donate all of the proceeds. We had no clue and didnt have time to set anything up.
one of the bands bought raffle tickets already though so will plan on having a benefit show for a worthy cause at some point this summer.

No prob man. Had a great time. Got watch another great game and enjoy some kick ass music. They killed it. So did your band SWIL.

Bump. Tonight!!! IF you dont have anything to do come on down . Three great local bands. SWIL will be opening the show at 9pm sharp and this flyer is not correct. The cover is only $5, not $10.

Hope to see some of you if you can. This is one of our better lineups.
Jackfoolery have a Led Zep vibe and Pirahnapuss reminds me of Rage against the machine mixed with Godsmack.

Both Incredible local bands.

Going to chris brown with the wife next week.

Week after going to see Luke Combs at Duke's.

Then seeing Incubus and Jimmy Eat World in August.

Used to go to Midnight Round-up a bunch in Gresham before they demolished the building and put in a killer burger and mod pizza. A band played there a couple times. A cover band that we all enjoyed.

Is all your stuff original or do you do any covers?

Oh, and went to Tom Green this last weekend at helium. He was awesome. Not music, but you included comedy :P. Love going to Helium.

Geez, I used to know a Chris Brown. She came from a very socially Conservative family, though. She wouldn't be too young now. Much older than me, of course. I don't think I was born yet when I knew her.

I would, just to meet you, but I've had a grueling day at the hospital and I need the rest before tonight's game. The wife and I are having a grilled T-Bone, with baked potato, a nice bottle of red which I've gotta use up before we get too old, and homemade tapioca pudding that is outstanding. Then we're gonna sit down, take it easy and watch tonight's game. Lillard should be playing.

Enjoy the evening. Ill be recording the game and watching when i get home. :)

I also record the game and then start watching it about an hour later. That way I don't have to watch any commercials which I hate with a passion.

Going to Jesse Colin Young at The Aladdin 4/19...

then back to Beautiful Central Oregon on 4/21 for Jennifer Batten at The Volcanic Theatre and Pub...
