Upcoming road games look very winnable

I have to agree on this one. Batum and Dante are the only two young players in the lineup that are actually playing consistent and showing nice upside.

Rudy, Bayless and Webster will always be frustrating, middle-of-the-road players. You can't build a contender having to give those guys extended minutes.

I mostly agree with you. Webster has been given chance after chance. Rudy may only be in his 2nd NBA season, but he has years of experience in pro ball in Spain (and international play). Both those guys are past the point where some great leap forward is likely. (not *impossible*, but improbable)

Bayless.....I desperately want to believe in the kid - but my hopes are fading. Instead of building on his initial success this season, he is regressing.

Why do I have a really nasty feeling in my gut when I read threads like this? (then again, maybe it's the burrito I had for lunch?)

The odd thing is, the Blazers have been playing about as well on the road as they did last season. It is their home record that has gotten noticeably worse.

i think that a loss like that sends an already trying season into a pure spiral. im almosr certain we lose to the nets. that would finish us.

the suns last year who fell apart after the break will be us this year

Didn't you say that there was no chance in hell that we make the playoffs unless we made a trade?

The teams we play on this road trip don't look like much. But don't forget this is a 4 games in 5 nights roady.

For a team that has looked ultra-fatigued recently . . .

Honestly, I have no idea what to expect. I wouldn't be all that surprised if we went 1-4 or 4-1.

Who looks tired on this team? Maybe Brandon. We are coming off the All-Star break. Don't confuse looking frustrated and confused as fatigue.

OKC just went to OT to beat the Knicks and followed that up with a two point win over the "mighty" Twolves. And they're completely healthy and supposedly on fire. Color me not impressed.

Wins are wins. We got blown out by the Knicks. The Thunder have won 9 straight. It doesn't matter how many points they won by. Being able to close tight games is impressive no matter who it's against.

The Suns were 23-18 at the mid-point of the season last year. The second half of the year they went 23-18, and finished the season 46-36.

im fucking heartbroken on that loss. its just the truth wether you wanna admit it or not. HORRIBLE LOSS. Thats the kind of loss you dont recover from. Our only hope is that the hornets, rockets, and spurs have tough scheds.

I heard the Cavaliers are giving up on the season too because they have lost 3 in a row. Clearly LeBron does not have what it takes to help his team out and get them out of a slump. It doesn't matter if we lose by 25 or go to OT and lose, a loss is a loss. Go bitch about it.

NJN = Win
TOR= Loss
CHI= Loss
MIN= Win
MEM=Loss

Thats what I predict.

A must win for the Blazers and they got it against the Nets.
Toronto has had 3.5 days off. They will be rested. Having camby hurt for questionable status against the Raptors will probably hurt our chances to even get within 10 points in the end.
